CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

Kulthum's Monday began with a delicious breakfast that was cooked by Nadia. She was still in her power rangers pajamas and was sitting on the dinning chair giggling at Sarah's teasing towards Dada on the phone. Nadia finally sat with two cups of turmeric milk in her both hands.

Dada? When is Abba having the meetings with queen Elizabeth?" Nadia suddenly asked

"On the 7th in sha Allah" Dada responded

"I hope it goes well" kulthum voiced out with a mouthful of sausage

Their conversations was hilariously interesting until khalifa came to the kitchen and started with Nadia all of a sudden.

Their quarrel will always made you laugh and beg for more. Like, they would always argue about nothing and end up laughing about how their attitude towards one another.

"Dada did you know that your son has finally got himself a girl" said Nadia

"wait! Really? Khalifa? Who is she?"

"Dada it's no one. You know how Nadia and her craziness would be. And besides even if I will go for any girl it will be someone you know and love so much"

Actually, whenever he talked about a girl kulthum will always get a hint or two. And when he said that, she tilted up to his look and he gladly caught her blushing.

"and you know what Dada?"

Uhn" Dada and Nadia said No in unison and he glared at Nadia that hurriedly wanted to hear more

"there is a girl. But I will wait till she's ready"

Nadia screamed from the top of her lungs and hugged him tightly. Frankly speaking, Nadia truly wants her little brother to settle down especially when he began to have interest in someone even though she wasn't quite sure who the girl was, yet she knew her brother was an easy start and she had high expectations that he would choose a well mannered girl as their in-law

"May you be always blessed" Dada said and they answered amen all together

"Dada, till we talk later. Kulthum would be late to the academy" khalifa interrupted before she would say another sentence

"Oh, yeah. Take care of her for me Khalifa. Ummu am study harder hun, okay?" Dada said heartily and you can't wait to see how happy he was that his mom loved kulthum already

Let me go get ready then" kulthum said and double-quick walked to her room

Within some minutes, she came out looking simple as often and excitedly call for khalifa that was already at the estate gate with the Mercedes parked by the gate also.

Shall we?" he asked and she nodded

Kulthum! Kulthum!" khalifa who was at the kitchen kept calling out her name along his phone by his right ear.

However, she was in the restroom doing her skincare routine. He knocked on her door thrice before coming in. That was his first time coming into a girl's room apart from Nadia. The room was so warm that he felt like to switch rooms, the room was cozy as it seems, and the arrangement was literally interesting. The empty Vases and the bookshelf were the best part of the room. He just kept admiring the room with his eyes and beam.

He slowly strolled to the shelf and grab a book that made him smile so hard that even his teeth were visible. He opened it page by page, grinning from ear to ear, and just then he heard her whispering Dua for coming out from the bathroom.
