Harry: The Polar Express, that is the movie I am watching, and it is still at the beginning I believe. Do you want to watch it with me? * He asks his wife Nichelle patting the side of the bed next to him, waiting for her response to his invitation *
Nichelle: Harry, I love The Polar Express; it's one of my favorite Christmas movies to watch in December around Christmas and I also love the movie ELF starring Will Ferrell in fact I love all Christmas movies because they are movies that make you feel good, of course I want to watch it with you. * I say to my husband Harry trying my best to climb in the bed next to my husband, so I could watch The Polar Express with him, I love those moments when Harry and I are in pajamas, having breakfast in our bedroom suite and watching TV with each other and cuddling together the entire day *
Harry: Do you need any help? * He says to his wife Nichelle noticing that she was struggling to get in the bed next to him, so she could watch the movie with him. *
Nichelle: Yes honey, which would be great. * I say to my husband Harry waiting for him to get out of bed to help me get in the bed so we could watch the movie together *
Harry: Sweetheart, grab my hand. * He says reaching his hand out for his wife to take it * Don't worry honey, I got you. Take it slow getting up, okay sweetheart. * He says to his wife Nichelle helping her get up from the recliner and escorting her to the side of the bed he wanted his wife to sit up on and helping her sit down on the bed before grabbing her feet and putting them up *
Nichelle: Thank you for helping me honey, sorry if I made you miss most of the movie because you had to help me get in the bed, I feel bad about it. * I say to my husband Harry feeling sad that both him and I missed most of the movie The Polar Express because I needed help getting in bed with him and getting comfortable to watch the movie with him *
Harry: It's okay. Look what's on next. White Christmas is on next and then ELF starring Will Farell. * He says to his wife Nichelle, trying to cheer her up because she was sad that they couldn't watch The Polar Express together because the movie was ending, and the credits were rolling. *
Nichelle: I love that musical movie, what other holiday movies are coming on after. The movie Elf. * I ask my husband Harry while rubbing my baby bump again and then humming on of my favorite Christmas songs to my daughter Stacy who is in my stomach waiting to be born *
Harry: The Santa Claus trilogy is coming on after Elf and then Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer is coming on after the Santa Claus trilogy and then A Year Without a Santa Claus amongst other movies. * He says to his wife showing her the TV guide before checking the time on his phone and then texting his mum and asking her to bring him up a bowl of Miso soup with the crackers his wife brought for him to eat *
Nichelle: Yes, I still need to eat something as well. * I say to my husband Harry knowing that it was dinner time and grabbing one of the light snacks for me to eat during my pregnancy while I wait for my dinner *
Anne: Harry here is your dinner, Nichelle what are you doing sitting next to Harry when he is still sick with Covid. * She says to her daughter in law sternly with both hands on her hips lightly scolding her *
Nichelle: Harry was watching my favorite Christmas movie; The Polar Express and he asked me if I wanted to watch it with him and I said yes and he patted the side of the bed next to him for me to watch the movie with him but he had to help me get settled in bed so, I could watch it with him but we ended up missing the rest of the movie. * I explain to my mother -in-law Anne Twist trying not to get upset *
Harry: Mum, it's fine. I'm not contagious anymore. * He says to his mum in between bites of Miso soup and crackers trying to get her to ease up a bit *
Anne: I know but you are still sick. Nichelle, have you eaten dinner yet? * She asks her daughter in law, so she could make her something to eat for dinner as well as herself *
Nichelle: No, I just ate one of my pregnancy snacks. I am craving Mexican right now and I would like my chicken and veggie quesadillas right now. * I say to my mother -in-law starting to yawn a bit because I was starting to get tired, and we weren't halfway or a quarter of the way through White Christmas *
Anne: Okay sweetie, I'll get your dinner ready and get mines ready as well. What movie are you both watching now? * She asks Harry and her daughter-in-law before going to the kitchen to make both her dinner and her daughter-in-law's dinner. *
Harry: We are watching Irving Berlin's White Christmas, it's a musical type of film with some comedy. As you can tell, it's one of Nichelle's favorite holiday films.
Anne: Yes, I can see that. I brought the Christmas tree up from storage and I was wondering if you and Nichelle would like to help decorate the tree. I got the tree put together, but I am not sure, I also brought all the Christmas decorations up from storage. * She says to her son and her daughter- in- law, sitting down in the recliner and taking a short breather before getting back up and going to the kitchen to cook dinner for her daughter- in- law and herself. *
Harry: Yes, I would love to do that as a family tonight. Nichelle, sweetheart; how would you like to decorate the tree with my mum and me? You know just a family project. * He asks his wife Nichelle waiting for her to answer because he knew that his wife enjoyed doing things like that together. *
