“We have company,” I hear Mathew say as I feel the bed slightly dip.
“Morning babies, aww look Areli is still asleep,” I say taking him from Mathew and laying him beside me.

It is Saturday today so we get to stay in bed for a bit longer. Mathew brought all the kids in bed so we could all cuddle before starting with our day.

“I am so tired,” I yawn whilst adjusting Athaliah who was now in my arms so she could feed properly
“Are the twins keeping you up at night?” he asks
“No, it’s just, I just feel exhausted that’s all,” I say with a blank face

“You know we still need to talk about the other day right,” he says and my mood drops even more

“Matt, baby please we’ll talk but not now, not while the children are here,” I tell him, he nods and we sit in silence, well except for Nalani and Lael’s babble

“Well can I at least get a kiss,” he whispers wiggling his eyebrows
“Noooo,” I say playfully looking away
“Ah, I’m hurt, come here,” he said gently tugging my arm

“Matt stop it you play too much, you’re going to squish the kids,” I laugh leaning in to give him a kiss.

“It’s been a minute since I’ve seen you smile or even laugh,” he says softly
“Yeah, it’s hard sometimes to look at our kids and think there was supposed to be five of them and there’s only four, just breaks my heart and I can’t even talk about her without crying,” I say, trying to blink the tears away

“Yeah, our sweet angel,” Matt said softly
We play with the kids for a while then we decided to get started with our day, I mean as much as I wanted to be in bed all day we needed to get up.

“It’s a pretty chill day today isn’t it,” Matt said. We were in the living room, he was sitting on the floor with Stephania and Sapphira flipping through story books, Areli and Athaliah were in the bassinets and I was laying on the couch going through my phone.

“We have arrived,” someone says and I immediately knew the voice. Mathew stood up to see they were.

“You just had to jinx it Mathew,” I comment and he threw a stuffed toy at me.
“Uhm what’s going on, what are you guys doing here?” I asked as Matt led them into the living room.

It was my mom, mami, Noelle, Austin, my brother, sisters and all of our friends.
Was this some type of intervention that I was not aware of.

“Boys,” Elle said and the guys nodded
“Wait, why are you nodding, why are they nodding, what’s going on?” Mathew said
Dylan and Ethan basically drag Mathew out of the house

“Uhm, what’s going on where are you taking my husband, more importantly what are you guys doing here?” I asked
“We are not letting you suffer alone anymore, we’ve watched enter this deep hole and without your friends and family by your side you’re only digging it deeper,” my mom said

“The girls are going to stay with you and Stephania, Sapphira and the babies will come with Noelle, mami and I,” she said again gently bouncing Nora who was on her hip.

“I uh, I don’t know what to say, I mean other than thank you,” I said bewildered
“Well we better get going and let you ladies get to it,” Noelle said picking up Areli
“Wait, I need to pack their bags and the girls’ snacks, wait oh and I-, the milk for the twins a-,”Rea cut me off

“Belle relax, yesterday we called Adelaide to prepare an emergency bag for all the kids and the twins’ snacks are already covered,” she said.

After that we got the girls ready including Athaliah and Areli before they left.
“Let’s set up,” Jas said once the ‘adults’ had left.
