CHAPTER 36: The Excessive Love

I woke up from bed feeling drowsy and my head hurts. Bumukas kaagad ang pintuan ng room ko and I saw Mom coming in. "Didn't I tell you that you should stop drinking" she said with an obvious disappointed look. "I-I didn't intended to drink that much" I explained trying to find my phone despite my disorganized bedsheets and pillows.

"Did you already forgot what we've been through because of you?" I stopped looking for my phone and stared at her. Here we go again. Mom always, always talked about what happened in the past. She never get sick of it. "Go bring this to your principal. You're transferring school" she said while she throw some documents on my bed. "Mom, do we need to do this? Why do we always talked about the past?....." hindi natuloy ang aking pagsasalita because mom walked close to me and held my jawline tight.

"Did you forgot?" Nanginginig ang kaniyang boses habang mas lalong humihigpit ang paghawak niya sa jawline ko. "DID YOU FORGOT?" this time, she shouted on my face. "Mom, please stop.... it hurts" marahas niyang binitawan ang pagkahawak sa aking pisngi kaya napaupo ako sa aking kama. "That st*pid drinking habit of yours put everything what your father and I worked for years and now, YOU'RE FOOLISHLY DRINKING AGAIN!" she shouted.

"I didn't mean......" I explained myself but she didn't listen. Instead, lumapit siya sa akin at nagsalita, "You always didn't mean Lloren. You don't" she held my hair and carress it. "We didn't mean what happened years ago. Right? You've said that yourself. We didn't mean to kill a person" hinigpitan niya ang hawak sa aking buhok kaya napasigaw ako ng mahina dahil sa sakit.

"Decide. You will stop that drinking habit of yours or I'll find a way to make you stop" and now she released the pressure that she put on my hair and she exited the room. Napahawak ako sa aking anit dahil sa sobrang hapdi ng nararamdaman ko.

I grab the documents she throws over me and scanned everything. I put it all on my bag and took a shower. After taking a warm shower, I changed into my school uniform outfit and grab my backpack. Napatingin ako sa maliit na eyebrow blade sa vanity table ko. I grab it and put it on my bag at umalis na ako ng bahay.

It's early and I know wala pa masyadong students in the school. I hurriedly walked towards our classroom and nagulat ako when I saw Angel sitting on her seat. She's early but she's right on time for our talk. Nagulat siya when she saw me entering the classroom. She smiled at me but I just didn't even bother to notice here. I put the documents on my table at lumapit ako sa kaniya. "I need to talk to you privately" I said. Napalingon-lingon siya sa paligid and after that she replied, "Wala namang tao dito" she had a point but I don't want our conversation to take place here.

"More privately" I added at naglakad ako palabas ng room. I heard her footsteps following me kaya I take the route to the rooftop. After some climbing, narating namin ang rooftop. "I think you already had the idea about what our conversation would be" I started off. She look like a blank state, as if she had no idea and she st*pidly look innocent. Sarcastic akong napatawa. "Are you really going to act innocently?" I asked her.

"I had no idea that you're a slut. You even slept at Jastine's house and even lied to me that both of you are cousin. Such manipulative witch" I agrressively said to her. "Pasensiya ka na Lloren...." I cut her off. "I don't need your apologies or explanation. I want your answers" I walked closer to her and this time halos magkatapat na ang mukha naming dalawa.

"Do you like Jastine?" there was a moment of silence. She was just plainly looking at me, thinking what she will respond to me. "Naiinip na ako, you should answer me now" I commanded her but she didn't even let out a word. Napatawa ako and I slowly grab my eyebrow blade on my pocket. I walked closer to the rooftop railings and climb over it. Nagulat si Angel sa ginawa ko. "Lloren...." she reacted while she run closer to my direction.
