Enveloped with Love! (Taekook)

CHAPTER XVI

February 2nd, 2022 - Seoul - Min residence

It was a cold morning when Taehyung was welcomed at Min residence with the usual hugs and greetings. They were to go cake tasting today since Yoongi was called into work a few days ago when they were supposed to go and hence it was postponed to today.

Taehyung was upset and pouted half the morning since he didn't get cake. Can't blame him, he lives for cake!

Shrugging off his coat and hanging it by the door, Taehyung went to help set the table for breakfast. Jimin had outdone himself again and made all of Taehyung's favorite dishes even though some of them were not liked by Yoongi. Taehyung always felt loved here, something as simple as making sure he had food he liked prepared specially for him which didn't happen as often. Not to mention, the portions were huge and Taehyung was sure his jeans would be considerably tight when he left. It was Jimin's way of compensating for the fact that Taehyung didn't eat much at home and always refused to have his meals at their home except for special occasions .

Looking at all the mouthwatering dishes on the table, Taehyung was overwhelmed and tried to crush Jimin into a bear hug, one that had him literally gasping for air as his face was squished in Taehyung's chest. But he didn't mind. He loved Taehyung a bit too much and allowed him to do whatever he pleased. Jimin, nor Yoongi had failed to notice the glow that was on Taehyung's face for a few weeks and they had tried so much to get him to spill the beans but to no avail. His best friend was tight lipped as ever!

Whatever it was though, the couple hoped it continued. It was too long that they had watched the handsome boy suffer.

"Okay, if you want to kill him, at least let me kiss him goodbye..." Taehyung chuckled at Yoongi's jibe and let go of Jimin while the latter gasped for breath and looked at his fiancé with eyes that screamed betrayal!

"What? So it's okay if he kills me?" Jimin asked with his hand on his chest pretending to be wounded.

"Well, I mean if Taebear wants to kill you, who am I to say no? He's my baby. He can do whatever he wants!" Yoongi replied as he ruffled Taehyung's hair, smiling at him with all the love in the world.

Taehyung cheered in tiny and poked his tongue out at Jimin like a child. No surprises there!

"But I thought I was your baby..." Jimin's voice was so soft, Taehyung wondered if he was about to cry.

Yoongi walked to his fiancé and pulled him flush to his chest. Taehyung watched the couple with eyes, that widened gradually as the space between the two men kept on reducing.

"That you are! My baby boy...So good for me, aren't you?" Smirking, Yoongi placed a soft kiss on Jimin's ear lobe.

Jimin blushed cherry red, and replied in a voice that Taehyung had hoped never to hear but that was nothing as compared to what came out of his mouth.

"Yes I am.. Only for you, Dadd-.."

That was it for Taehyung and he screamed which made the two men jump away from each other to look at the man now clutching his ears.

"OH MY GOD. MY EARS!! NO NO NO NO NO. I DIDN'T HEAR THAT. NO, I DIDN'T.

DEAR GOD, MY EARS!!!!"

The couple doubled over in laughter while Taehyung prayed to all that was holy to erase that awful statement and the image that followed it. He loved the two but sometimes they just forgot that he was around!

He looked at them with pretend angry eyes, nostrils flaring as he rubbed his chest.

"My ears are bleeding, seriously. Geez, you guys. Not in front of me. Eww, I cannot unhear it now.. Ew ew ew.." He whined.
