July 16th, 2022 - Seoul - Jeongguk's residence

Once their tears were dried and both men were a bit more composed, they let go of each other. Jeongguk was smiling so wide, even if he tried he couldn't hide the happiness as his eyes shone with all the love he had in his heart for Taehyung.

He was so moved by that poem. Of course, he knew the older could write well, but the implications behind those words just was like magic. Pure magic, the way they made him feel whole too!

Taehyung was feeling so shy and happy that Jeongguk felt so strongly about his poem and received it so well. Truth be told, when Taehyung wrote it before coming here last night, he thought the younger would appreciate the gesture of course, but nothing big. Nothing like this... Nothing so genuine that Taehyung could quite literally see everything he felt for him. Now he was more than sure that Jeongguk was in love with him too.

"Baby, that was so beautiful..." Jeongguk said in a shaky voice. There were still a few stray tears in his eyes but he blinked them away. He was so happy, his heart and soul were flying.

"Thank you, Gukkie... I...hope you know that I meant every word.."

Taehyung held on to his hand and rubbed circles and Jeongguk giggled.

"Of course I know, Tae.. No one has ever done something like this for me... I just... oh! Can I keep it?" He asked as he kissed Taehyung's hand.

The said man gave his classic boxy smile and nodded.

With that they decided to get some dinner since it was very late and both of them were hungry. Jeongguk was yet to finish the final touches to the background of the painting and so he did not allow Taehyung to see it yet.

Dinner was done quickly and Jeongguk was wondering how he would explain his dialysis to Taehyung tomorrow. He was already lying so much, it was hard to keep going.

"Gukkie, would you like to have dinner at my place next Friday?" Taehyung asked as they washed the dishes.

"Friday?" Jeongguk was honestly surprised. Taehyung always insisted on meeting earlier so it was weird that this time he would himself choose a day that was 5 days away.

Chuckling a little at Jeongguk's expression, Taehyung answered.

"I know... I have to attend a writer's conference at my firm for 2 days and then I promised Jimin that I will go with them to Jeju to check out the wedding venue so I'll be back Thursday late night." Taehyung informed him.

"Of course, Tae... I was just kidding. I would love to have dinner with you!" Jeongguk said as he wiped his hands on the kitchen towel. He threw it on the counter and walked to the taller man who was putting the last of the dishes in the cabinet and back hugged him.

Kissing his neck, Jeongguk asked in a heavy voice, "What's on the menu, baby?"

Taehyung blushed. Thinking for a minute, he bit his lips. "Me!"

Turning in Jeongguk's arms, he quickly joined their lips. It was messy as they devoured each other. It was impossible to get enough and it showed as they licked and sucked on each other's lips, tongues joining in wanton abandon that had them both panting for air.

"We should stop..." It was Taehyung. He didn't want to take it where they would not be able to hold back. He didn't want to exert the younger anymore. In any case, there would be enough time. They had their whole life to do just this!

"I should get going, it's late!"

Jeongguk nodded. He didn't want to let him go but he had his dialysis tomorrow morning so in a way it was better that Taehyung leaves.
