"When are you coming to visit?" asks dad. "I don't know papa. I'm still trying to settle here at work and get a hang of things. I'm sure I will visit month end and I'll even bring some goodies for you guys." I answer. "I just want you to be here I don't care about the goodies you want to bring." I smile. "Its my way of spoiling you papa." "I don't care." I chuckle.
"A o siame?" I ask. (Are you okay?) "I'm okay ngwanake I just miss you." he answers. (my child.) "I miss you too papa but don't worry I'll visit soon." "I'm counting down the days." I chuckle. "Where is Obakeng and Olebogang?" "They are still busy making breakfast. I told them that I would stall the call with you until they are done." I smile.
"Do you guys still have everything you need there?" I ask. "Everything is okay ngwanake. I don't want you to always be concerned if we have everything. I would make a plan if there was something short." he answers. "I know papa but you know how your wife is." He sighs. "Let's not talk about her." I nod.
"Papa dijo di siame." I hear Obakeng's voice in the background. (Dad food is ready.) "Tla o bue le mogoloo wa mosetsana." says dad. (Come and talk to your older sister.) "O dirile tshwetso ya go founela. A bo o le molemo jang ne." says Obakeng and i chuckle. (Wow you decided to call how very nice of you.) "Ke maswabi go bo ke ne ke le kgaitsadi yo o sa siamang. Ke ne ke tshwaregile." (I'm sorry for being a bad sister I've been busy.)
"You owe me a lot." he says. "And I will make it up to you? Where is Olebogang?" I ask. "She is coming now now." "How are you?" "I'm good and you." "I'm good too." "Tlisa thelefouno le nna ke batla go bua le kgaitsadiake." says Olebogang and i laugh. (Bring the phone I want to talk to my sister too.) "Ke sa tswa go amogela mogala jaanong ka jalo leta gore ke go etele." (I just got the phone now so wait your turn.)
"Sisi how are you?" asks Olebogang. "I'm good and you princess." I answer. "I'm good. I miss you." "I miss you too princess I'll bring something nice for you when I come." "Oooh I can't wait." We chuckle. "Have a great weekend okay." "Thank you you too." "And stay focused in school and get good results." "We will." says Obakeng. "I just wanted to check on you and make sure you guys are okay."
"We are good. Are you fine?" asks Obakeng. "I'm fine don't worry about me." I answer. "That's good. We can't wait to see you." "Me too. I'm coming soon don't worry." "We will be waiting on you." "Okay go and eat let me not keep you waiting." "Bye sisi." says Olebogang. "Bye love love. I love you guys." "We love you too." They drop the phone and i sigh.
