Onalerona's POV
It can't be, there is no ways that i am working for my ex again. Why is God making sure that he is with me wherever i go. Can't i have a job that does not have him as my boss. I take a deep breath and exhale slowly.
I wonder if he recognizes me though but i doubt he does because the mask covers most of my face. "Hawu you just going to stand there and not dance the same way you were dancing a few minutes ago." he says and i clear my throat. "I'm sorry I'll start now."
I walk towards the pole and take the phone and shuffle the playlist and the song Feel something by Chris Brown starts playing. I imagine myself in that serene place and start working my magic on the pole.
I need to feel something
I need to feel something
I need to feel something
I need to feel something
Cause damn, its so good
And damn, you're so bad
I hit it so good
I'll make it to talk back
You tell me its mine
You know i like that
I'm reading your signs
Until you climax
I need to feel something.I finish dancing and open my eyes. The minute my eyes open they meet his and his looking at me from head to toe. I clear my throat. "Come sit here." I hope he doesn't recognize me because i know i will be doomed. This will complicate an already complicated situation.
I walk towards him and sit on the couch right next to his. We maintain our eye contest and a part of me feels like he will recognize me sooner or later. I pray he never asks me to take off my mask or reveal my actual identity because the only thing that's separating us from the truth is the mask.
"You know your way around the pole." he says and i fight the urge to smile. I have flashbacks of that day i danced for him for the first time. I shake my head to rid of those thoughts. I can't think about such now. "Thank you." "What made you choose to work here?"
Does he usually ask the newbies to dance for him then he asks them such questions? "To answer your question no I don't ask all newbies only if I am curious." he says and i feel my cheeks heat up. I can't believe i said that out loud. Way to go Onalerona. "I didn't mean to say that out loud." he chuckles.
"Its okay back to my question." he says and i clear my throat. I don't know if i should tell him the truth or just parts of it. He doesn't deserve to know everything so I will tell him parts of it. "I need the money to look after my family." I answer. "Do you have another job?" "I do but i don't earn enough to cover all expenses."
He hums. "I'll see you tomorrow." he says as he stands up. "Okay then." He walks out and i sigh a sigh of relief. How can one's life be filled with so much drama? Now i must deal with him there at the house and here in his own club. Its not like i can quit any of the jobs because i am in desperate need of money. Sigh. The things we go through in life sometimes.

I collect the plates from the dining room and take them to the kitchen. Precious takes the plates from me and starts washing the dishes. I finish clearing the table before going upstairs to get started on the laundry. I take the laundry baskets from the kids rooms and walk to the laundry room.I separate the colours and add the dark colors in the washing machine and hand wash the lighter colors. After washing i put the clothes in the dryer to spin and hang them on the washing line outside and in the sunroom.
