Nkosikhona's POV
She looks at me and then the ring and back at me. "Nkosikhona," "Please say yes." "I, I..." "Sthandwa sami ngiyakucela cela uvume." (my love please say yes.) "Yes." "Wear that ring please." "Have the decency to put it on me." I chuckle. I take the ring box and take out the ring and slip it on her. "This is beautiful." "Angeke ifike kubuhle bakho." she chuckles. (it won't reach your beauty.)
"Whatever Nkosikhona." she says and I chuckle. "Come sit ontop of me." I say and she shakes her head no. "I'm too heavy." "Come here sthandwa sami." I push the seat back and she giggles. She comes to sit ontop of me and I rub her lower back. "I love you." she giggles. "I love you too." "Give me a kiss." She pecks my lips and I deepen the kiss.
We pull apart from the kiss and she buries her head in the crook of my neck. "How is our son treating you?" I ask. "It's still the same morning sickness which I'm sick off." she answers. "It will be over very soon." "It needs to end because I'm tired." I chuckle and kiss her forehead.
She lifts her head up and places my hand on her stomach and I feel our baby kick. These are moments I want to cherish forever. I love feeling his kicks it reminds me that soon I will hold him in my arms and play with him. The love I feel for him right now is immense and I can only imagine how much more I will love him when his born.
"Still feels like the first time he kicked." I say and she giggles. "But his kicks are quite strong." she says and I hum in agreement. "He will be a strong boy." she chuckles. "And a very handsome one." "Ngoba uzobathatha ubuhle bami." she rolls her eyes. (he would have taken my beauty.)
"O tshwanetse a bo a tshwana le nna. Ga ke a mo tshola ka dikgwedi di le robongwe gore a tle a tshwana le wena." she says and I chuckle. (he must come out looking like me. i didn't carry him for nine months so that he can come out looking like you.) "Mmé o ne a bua jalo gararo mme o bone gore seo se ne sa felela ka eng." she rolls her eyes.
(my mother said that three times and look where that got her.) "I carried him though so he needs to look like me." she says. "He won't he must look like his dad." I say and she pouts and I peck her lips. "Maybe we can have a girl after." "Yoh no ways, pregnancy is draining and now I have to go through the nausea and morning sickness again." I laugh.
"Our son is going to get lonely." I say. "Both his parents will be very much present and he has cousins from his dad's side that will keep him entertained." she says and I chuckle. "Okay then he is our first and last born." "I'm glad you know. This time around I'll be very careful when it comes to you and your sperms." I laugh.
"I can pull out." she rolls her eyes. "We are going to use a condom and that's not up for discussion." she says. "But," "Its not up for discussion. Don't be using the 'I want to feel your warmth' excuse because it won't work on me. Its either condoms or you starve." "Okay fine I will buy them in bulks." "Thank you." I chuckle and peck her lips.
"I think I need to go before my dad comes back." she says. "I don't want to let go of you just yet." I say. "Me too but I left my siblings at home and I don't want my dad to see me coming out of your car otherwise its over for us." I sigh. I hate the fact that she's right. She kisses my cheek and I chuckle. "I want one on my lips too." she chuckles. "You already got one so move on."
"Please just this one then you can go." I say and she shakes her head. "Okay." She pulls me in for a kiss. I hope things change and work out for the both of us. I don't want to do this life thing with anyone else besides her. She is the one I'm willing to go through it all and in the end I will still choose her. We pull apart from the kiss and she pecks my lips.
