Nkosikhona's POV
Those words hurt me more than i realise. I know she still loves me the problem is the fact that i got married to Rea. I got married to the very same person that put us in this situation. If i knew what i know now we wouldn't be here right now, i would be somewhere around the world with her.
I go downstairs and take my keys of the key rack and head out. I bump into Zithulele on the way out and he drags me back inside. "Uyaphi mfwethu?" asks Zithulele. (Where are you going brother?) "I need some air, do you want something?" I ask. "You look like you going through the most talk to me."
"Hurry up and you will find me in my car." I say and he nods and walks away. I get inside and sigh. I wait for a few minutes and he comes back changed into sweatpants and a sweatshirt. He gets inside and i bring the ignition to life and switch on the heater.
"These days you look like you have the whole world on your shoulders." he says and i chuckle. "That's you putting it lightly, i have the whole universe." I say and we chuckle. "Talk to me. I know you don't like talking about your problems and you prefer to handle them on your own but we are there for you."
"If you can help me get out of this marriage i will be more than happy." I say and he chuckles. "Rea can't be that bad." he says. "Its not about her not being that bad its about me being married to her and i don't even see her that way." "Zenzele didn't like his wife too at the beginning, maybe you are too close minded."
"This is different from his situation." I say. "I think i need a drink for this matter. Asambe siyoshaya i-round ungithengele izinto ezikhala kahle." he says and i roll my eyes. (Let's go somewhere and buy me something thats nice.) "Why don't you fetch your dad's alcohol instead of milking me dry?" he chuckles.
"I'll pay seeing as though you are refusing to spend money on your one and only handsome brother." he says and i roll my eyes. "Uzama ukuthini ngobhuti omdala?" I ask and he chuckles. (What are you trying to say about our older brother?) "He is handsome I'm just the most handsome." "Rubbish."
"Drive then." I shake my head and reverse the car out of the driveway. We pass by the liquor store and he buys himself a bottle and something to dash with. He gets inside the car and takes out the cups from the cabion and pours himself a glass. He pours me cold drink and i thank him.
"I'm so proud of you for remaining sober for this long." he says and i let out a little smile. "I am already a problem when sober, when I'm drunk i just become worse and i don't want that." I say. "At least you see your problem. I don't want you to go back no matter how tempted you get."
"I won't." I say and take a sip of my cold drink. "Start talking who knows i might give you some advice." he says and i laugh. "I don't think i would want to take your advice Zithulele even Zobuhle gives better advice then you." we chuckle. "It depends with the situation." "I don't trust you."
"Mxm. Start talking." he says. "I don't want to be married to Rea for the rest of my life." I say. "Did she do something?" "She fucked up my future." "How?" "She ruined my previous relationship because she wanted me and the person that i was with was standing in her way." "Hawu?" "And I didn't know about this until now."
"Yoh thats drama." "Uthanda yona phela ngiyakwazi." I say and he chuckles. (you love it i know you.) "Not when my brothers are at the receiving end of it." "I believe you bafo." he rolls his eyes and chuckles. "So what are you going to do about this?"
