Onalerona's POV

He feeds me a chocolate covered strawberry and I giggle. "Find you a man that will be romantic and sexy all at once." I say and we chuckle. "I have to be romantic so you don't seek romance out there. Women cheat because they don't get treated right by their partner and some are just hoes but that's not the point." says Nkosikhona and I chuckle at the last part.

"That's true but I would never cheat on you. I would just leave you." I say and he smiles and kisses my cheek. "But we will try and make it work. Relationships require effort and teamwork on both sides. They need trust, communication, respect and most importantly love." he says and I smile.

"That's true and they also need God to be in the centre of it so we can run to Him when we have problems and not the people, places and things of this world." he side eyes me and I chuckle. "Why are you giving me a side eye?" "Nothing." he answers. "Talk to me Nkosikhona." "I hear what you saying and it makes sense."

"I sense a but in there." I say and he shakes his head no. "I just want to understand the concept of the Lord from the beginning." he says and I smile and clap my hands excitedly. "Can I tell you about him." he nods. "Okay we know that God created heaven and earth and everything in it. He then created the first humans Adam and Eve. Everything was perfect and God told them to never eat from the tree of good and evil knowledge. Before He created Adam and Eve, there was an angel in heaven that wanted to be God himself and all that rubbish so Gabriel a fellow angel challenged him and he got kicked out of heaven and his known as the devil. You still with me?"

"Yeah I'm understanding everything so far." he answers and I nod. "Now the devil came in the form of a snake and convinced Eve to eat the apple so she can become god herself.  Eve being Eve she ate the apple and brought sin in the world. She also gave the apple to Adam and then they realised they are both naked which bought them shame. The world population started increasing and there was sin everywhere. God decided to give Moses the laws humans are supposed to follow in order to be made right with Him. He gave them rituals and ceremonies they had to perform but still these things didn't save the people it condemned them,"

"God then had the ultimate plan to redeem humanity and close the gap between humans and Himself and that was with Jesus Christ. Jesus is God in human form and he was perfect and never sinned. When he was crucified he rose again after three days because death could not hold him. The consequence of sin is death and since he hadn't sinned the grave couldn't hold him."

"So Jesus is the son but also God himself?" he asks. "Yes its like that, there is a holy trinity and God is the father, Jesus is the son and I'll tell you about the third one now. Jesus then ascended back to heaven and left His spirit here with us humans. The Holy Spirit is another form of God and it helps us draw closer to Him. The Holy Spirit rose Jesus from the dead and helped him overcome sin so that means we will be able to overcome sin ourselves. We receive salvation by believing the Good News that Jesus came and rescued us from our sins and we then receive the Holy Spirit."

"So if you believe but don't follow do you still get the Holy Spirit?" he asks. "You still tied to the worldly stuff and you aren't ready to give up your sinful ways and turn to Christ. Repentance comes from within. When you repent you turn away from your sinful nature and you admit where you are wrong and choose to believe Jesus and follow Him. You can't be lukewarm because when judgment day comes He will deny you." "Damn." I chuckle.

"I know its overwhelming so I will leave it here for today. But just know that if you want to change it must come from the heart and it must be something you truly want. I'll be there to help you through the journey." I say and he nods. "Come give me a kiss muhlez." he says and I giggle and peck his lips.
