Onalerona's POV
"How do I say this?" he asks. "Say it as it is." I say and he chuckles. "I just wanted to talk about us." "Meaning?" "I know." "You know what?" "Do you really want me to say it out loud?" "Yes because I'm lost." I hear him sigh. "I know that Rea is the one that forced you to to break up with me." I gasp. "Y..You know."
"Yes I do why didn't you tell me she threatened you?" he asks. "I didn't know how to tell you Nkosikhona. Honestly speaking would you have believed me if I said that there is a girl that's terrorizing me and claiming you as hers?" I ask. "I would have." "I didn't know how to tell you. How did you find out?"
"I have my ways." he says and i roll my eyes. "Really Nkosikhona?" I ask and he chuckles. "Okay I read her diary and saw that part and i just stormed off." "I'm sorry." "Don't apologise it's not your fault but I wish you told me." "I know but then she threatened my siblings and kidnapped them so I had to choose them." "I understand where you are coming from." I sigh.
"When are you coming back?" he asks. "I'm coming back this weekend there are still a few things that I need to sort out at home." I answer. "Are your siblings okay?" "No they are fine it's just my grandmother." "She must get well soon." I smile. "Thank you. So are you going to confront her." "No I can't." "Why not?"
"I'll figure it out as time goes on." he says. "Okay. I'm really sorry for keeping this from you." I say. "Its okay. Sizokhuluma kahle mowubuya." (We will talk properly when you come back.) "O sa ntse o batla go bua le nna morago ga seno." (You still want to talk to me after this.) "Uyazi nawe ukuthi kukhona ezinye izinto okufanele sikhulume ngazo and it can't be done over the phone." (You also know that there are some things we have to talk about and it can't be done over the phone.)
"I know so when are we going to talk." I ask. "Text me when you have arrived at the rank and then i shall fetch you." he answers. "Okay I'll do so." "At least you answered my call." I chuckle. "I was curious to know why you called me hence I answered." he chuckles. "We'll talk later then." "Bye." "Bye."
