Nkosikhona's POV
I shake my head and chuckle. "Ma please tell me this is some sick joke or prank." I say. "His not your biological father." says ma. I look around and see if there are any cameras or someone will come out and say jokes on you but there is nothing. I look at Zenzele and his facial expression is blank.
"You cheated on your husband?" asks Zenzele. "I only cheated once." she answers. "Who is our father?" I ask. I don't care about her cheating on that lanky ass husband because its not like he was faithful. "Mqhele is your father." I laugh. Haibo this woman slept with her husband's twin. It makes sense why we look like dad but at the same time his not our father.
"Mqhele as in Maqhawe's twin?" asks Zenzele and she nods and wipes away her tears. Why is she crying now? "Ma wipe those stupid tears away. Nkosikhona go and call our so called biological father." I sigh and stand up and look for him. I find him at his rondavel and I ask him to follow me. I can't believe this man is my dad.
I would love to say I see the striking resemblance and why didn't I figure this out long time ago but she kept her affair in the family so it doesn't look too suspicious. We get to mom's rondavel and go inside and sit in the living room. "Baba did you and mom have an affair?" asks Zenzele and he coughs.
That coughing was a confirmation that indeed his our father. "How did you guys find out?" asks dad. "I mean your twin brother failed to include us in his will and we were like even in death he still hated us so we confronted mom about it and she said you are our father." answers Zenzele.
"Your mom said I shouldn't tell you guys." "And ma you thought it was better we get abused by your husband knowing very well why he is ill treating us but you still kept quiet about this!" shouts Zenzele. "I'm sorry bantwana bami. I never meant for any of this to happen. I tried talking to your dad so he can treat you equally but he didn't."
"Do you expect a man to raise another man's child and not just any man his own twin brother. You were busy shouting at him about his cheating ways yet you just like him." Zenzele is very much pissed and I understand why but there is no point in being angry because it won't erase the past or change the fact that ubaba is our dad.
"Zenzele calm down she's still your mother so you have to respect her." says dad. "How did this whole relationship of yours come about?" I ask. "I met your mother first and we dated but things ended because she met your dad and I didn't know she was pregnant when she moved on with your dad. I only found out later on that Zenzele is mine."
"I'm sure you found out and confronted her and made me neh." I ask. "No." answers ma. That means true love never dies. "At least my father ain't dead." Zenzele glares at me and I clear my throat. Maybe its too early for such jokes. "Please find it in your hearts to forgive me bantwana bami. Please don't tell the other two." says ma.
"Wow ma you want us to keep your dirty laundry hidden they must know that their mother isn't all innocent." says Zenzele. "Ngiyakucela Zenzele please don't tell them. They don't have to know about this." says ma. (please.) "But the rest of the family needs to know." "Gogo knows already." says dad.
"Did you guys also know that your brother was ill treating us?" I ask. "Your mother never told us anything." answers dad. "Ma, why did you keep quiet about this. You let us go through abuse when all of this could have been prevented if you opened your mouth the same way you opened your legs." says Zenzele and she slaps him.
