Onalerona's POV

"You are back from your date with your man now you want to call me." says Nkosikhona and i sigh. "I'm sorry for not looking at things from your point of view." I say and he clicks his tongue. "What do you want Onalerona?" "I want to make things right. I know what i did was wrong and for that I'm sorry."

"You only realising this now that you are back." he says and i sigh. "My grandmother made me realise what i did was wrong." I say and he chuckles. "It took granny dearest to make you realise your shitty behaviour." "Yes. I didn't see the lunch date as a problem because i know i have eyes for you only and i would never cheat on you."

"And you honestly think i reacted the way i did because i don't trust you? I do trust you Onalerona and i know you wouldn't do that to me but i don't trust that little friend of yours. I'm sure he asked to take you out so he can try his luck with you, right?" he asks. "No he didn't ask me out because i told him i am dating." I answer and he chuckles.

"He was going to ask you out had you not mentioned that." he says. "I don't think he sees me in that way though." I say and he laughs like really laughs. "Onalerona, where have you see a male friend take you out nje for the fun of it." "Nowhere." "So why are you acting stupid and saying he doesn't ike you."

"I'm sorry for going out with him i was supposed to think twice before agreeing to meet up with him and I'm sorry for not taking your feelings into inconsideration." I say and he sighs. "You hurt me i don't wanna lie because i thought you would understand. I know you wouldn't like it if i go out with a woman and say we are just friends."

"I wouldn't like it but i wasn't thinking straight hence the hasty decision." I say. "I forgive you but don't do it again because when i hurt him, it will look like I'm wrong," I nod. "I won't do it again."  "And tell that little friend of yours to not take you out on lunch dates i know he won't do it like i do." he says and i laugh. "Its not a competition on who took me out on a better date though."

"There shouldn't have been one from the beginning. You are mine and mine alone i don't like sharing cause that means that person needs to go," I gulp. "I don't want it to seem like i am controlling the type of friends you have but you can't do certain things with certain people." he says. "And i understand."

"I'm glad you do. When are you going back to Joburg?" he asks. "Tomorrow but i'm going straight to my dad's house to spend a couple of days with them." I answer. "And then you come to my place?" "And then i come to your place. When are you going back to Joburg?" "We will still be stuck here for three days or so." I hum.

"What did you do today?" I ask. "I was sulking because you went out on a lunch date with a boy." he answers and i chuckle. "I'm really sorry once again." "Its okay you have to make it up to me though when you get back." "How so?" "I will tell you when we see each other again." "Okay." We talk for another hour before i go to sleep.

"Sisi!" Olebogang runs to me and i manage to catch her. She's lucky she's short and has a small body so i can still carry her. "Hi love. A o siame?" I ask. (are you okay?) "Ke siame mme wena." (i am okay and you.) "Ke siame. Ke ne ke go tlhologelelelwa." (i am okay. i missed you.) "I missed you too."

I put her down and she helps me take my bags to my bedroom. We walk to the living room and i find the rest of them here. We greet each other and surprisingly my stepmother responds enthusiastically. Till today i don't know why the sudden change of heart. Is it because of my pregnancy?
