We're back where Noah brought me for s'mores. Folios standing down by the river with Noah and Jolly sitting on chairs, although Folios seems to be the only one interested in fishing the others are just chilling. Sadie, Nick and I are sitting on a picnic blanket.
"It's so peaceful here." Sadie says.
"I know what a dream it would be to own somewhere like this." I reply and she nods.
"It's very different to London. I'm so used to tall buildings, angry people on tubes and smoke filling my lungs. I forgot to see the beauty in small things like this. Sitting in the grass with my friends watching the world go by." Sadie sighs happily.
"Are you still working?" I ask and she shakes her head.
"Nah I quit."
"Woah, go you. What you gonna do?" Nick asks her and she shrugs.
"I wanna see what happens, I'm here for a few months and then I'll either go home or I'll move onto another country. I wanna live freely. I don't wanna do what I was doing in London. I wasn't happy. We'll see what happens." Sadie smiles at Nick. He smiles back so genuinely and that's when I know that I'm not going to sit here any longer being the third wheel when Nick actually likes Sadie.
"I'm gonna go see if they caught anything." I declare as I stand up and make my way over to the boys fishing.
"You done with being the third wheel?" Jolly asks as I sit down on the ground across from them.
"That obvious isn't it." I laugh.
"How long we betting till they fuck?" Folio asks eyes focused on the water.
"Two weeks." Noah states no hesitation.
"Hmm, I only think one." Jolly joins in.
"Me too, what bout you Mar? You know Sadie better than us." Folio says.
"Nah, I ain't placing bets. That's on you guys. Did you's put bets on Noah and me?" I ask and Folio laughs.
"Do you want the honest answer or not?"
"Probably not but I've asked it now so yeah, tell me." I reply.
"Nah, y'all fucked before we even got the chance to place bets." Folio laughs with Jolly as Noah rolls his eyes.
"You guys are assholes." Noah groans.
"How'd you know when we first fucked?" I think aloud without really wanting an answer.
"I heard you dipshit. Hotel walls are thin. "OooOoOo Noah!" "Fuck Margo!" Y'all got no fucking chill." Folio wheezes. Jolly's laughing so hard he's almost choking. "Still not got any chill." Folio continues and I look at Noah.
"Your friend sucks. Fucking perv listening in on us. I think he needs to see someone about that." I tell Noah.
"I've been telling him for years." Noah jokes.
"I bring my bet forward. By Friday they've fucked." Jolly nods towards Nick and Sadie who are fully making out on the picnic blanket.
"Damn, Nicholas is making moves." Folio chuckles to himself.
"Fucking hell." I mutter looking at the water.
"Ay! Ruffilo knock it off, y'all got an audience!" Folio shouts over to Sadie and Nick.
"Yeah! That's my fucking blanket dude!" Noah shouts after making me snort.
"Yeah! you tell them tiger." I say to Noah as he stands up and crouches next to me on the ground.
