"You're positive that was Dart?" Lucas asked Dustin as they walked next to each other on the railroad tracks. Max and Judy stood in front of them, and Steve walked behind them all.

"Yes. He had the same exact yellow pattern on his butt." Dustin answered.

"He was tiny two days ago." Max looked back at the two boys for a second before facing forward again, looking around like the rest of them for any sign of a demogorgon.

"Well, he's molted three times already." Dustin said like it was obvious.

"Well, when's he gonna molt again?" Max returned his snarky tone back to him.

"It's gotta be soon. When he does, he'll be fully grown, or close to it. And so will his friends."

"Yeah, and he's gonna eat a lot more than just cats." Judy said.

"Wait, a cat? Dart ate a cat?" Lucas asked.

"No, what?" Dustin tried his best to deny it. "No. What are you talking about?"

Shaking her head, Judy turned and walked backwards to look at Lucas, "He ate Mews."

"Mews? Who's Mews?" Max asked, looking at Judy before turning to walk backwards too.

"It's Dustin's cat." Steve said, looking from behind everyone at Judy.

"Dude!" Dustin exclaimed, not wanting another person against his case.

"I knew it!" Lucas yelled as he pointed an accusatory finger at his friend beside him. "You kept him!"

"No! No. No, I... He missed me. He wanted to come home."

"Bullshit!"

"I didn't know he was a Demogorgon, okay?"

"Oh, so now you admit it?"

"Guys, who cares? We have to go." Steve yelled over them, done with their argument.

"I care!" Lucas reputed, "You put the party in jeopardy, Dustin! You broke the rule of law!"

In the midst of Lucas screaming at Dustin, Judy heard a faint screeching in the distance. Pointing her flashlight around Max, Judy averted her gaze and body towards the sound, walking off the tracks to get closer.

"Judy?" Steve questioned as he walked off the tracks himself to see what she was looking at.

"Shh," she quickly said, pointing her flashlight further out. Dustin and Lucas continued to yell, with max interjected a few times, causing Steve and Judy to struggle to hear what the sound was.

"Guys?" Steve called to the scene behind him, not nothing stopped. The children continued their blame game.

"Hey!" Judy screamed, turning around to face the now shocked children. They watched Judy expectantly. "Shut up, and listen."
