CHAPTER 10

"Lumabas ka na dyan!" pag sigaw ni Drix sa labas ng kwarto ko.

Nang umalis si Kuya Yuan agad na pumunta ako sa kwarto at kinuha ang laptop ko para makahanap ng impormasyon kay Hannarah Veltramo Funtos.

I didn't answer Drix, as he kept knocking on my door. I still hadn't eaten, and I could feel my stomach start to growl, but I'm determined to find the truth.

"Hera." Drix called with a heavy tone on his words, "Just please come out? Kung may gusto kang malaman, I'm the one who can help you." he whined.

I stayed silent as I remembered what he said. He was right. He was the one who could help me, the one who could give me a hand to find the answer to all of my questions.

I slowly walked towards the door and opened it when suddenly Drix fell, my brows furrowed, my lips arched, and I saw him aching his body.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I hissed, trying to restrain my laugh.

Nakita ko pa siyang biglang umupo kasabay ng pagmamasahe sa braso. "Bakit bigla mong binuksan ang pinto?!" he raved with an irritated look on his face.

"Sabi mo lumabas ako!" I answered him as he got up.

"Sabihin mo naman kasi kung you'll open the door or what, natumba ako oh." he complained as he pats his clothes.

I just sighed and got back to my table, where my laptop was. He followed me, leaned towards my table, and peeked for what I was searching for.

He suddenly laughed as I glared at him, "Bakit na naman?!"

"Are you serious? Hinahanap mo yung Hannara sa Facebook?!" he burst into laughter as I slowly reached for my laptop and closed it.

Bakit ba?! I just shot my shot, baka naman kasi may facebook account sya.

"Lumayas ka na nga dito sa kwarto ko!" sigaw ko at agad naman siyang tumigil sa kakatawa at pinunasan ang luha sa mata.

Funny ha ha

"You don't have to worry." he started as he regained his composure, "We are doing our best to track her down, hindi mo na kailangan magpaka stress Hera. Cloud won't want to see his little sister stressing out because of him," he added with a soft tone in his voice.

"So please...just live your life." he smiled as he kissed my forehead.

I was stunned by the sudden action, but that thing was still bothering me. I know they are doing their best, but I can't stand and watch here while they are anxious about our family problems.

Drix is my best friend, as is Cadis. Kuya Yuan was also so close to our family, especially Kuya Cloud, to the point that they are investing their personal time to help us, but it feels so wrong.

"Control your thoughts." Drix cut me off.

Pakiramdam ko ay parang nabasa niya ang kung ano ang tumatakbo sa utak ko.

"You trust us, right? You trust me, right?" he asked while holding my chin as he smiled at me giving me a comforting stare.

I looked away because I felt something from my stomach, no...hindi to pwede.

He softly turned my head again to face him. The spark in his eyes was definitely something. It wasn't the same eyes he was using on other people. That dark and deep glare faded away when he was looking at me. His thumb softly caressed my cheeks as he kept staring at me.

"I'm still waiting for your answer." he breaks the silence between us.

"H-huh?" I shuttered

"You.., you trust me, right?" he repeated as I slowly nodded at him and saw his wide smile.
