CHAPTER 24

"Bakit nandito ka na naman?" tanong ni Waige habang nakasandal sa pintuan ng pagbuksan niya ako at papasukin.

Agad naman akong umupo sa sofa niya, dito muna ako bago pumasok sa school. It's just 8 am in the morning and class starts at 1 pm. Tska feels at home na ako dito.

I left the mansion immediately after Drix left as if we hadn't argued. Hindi ko na alam kung ano na ang gagawin ko sa lalaking yun. I always pushed him away in every way possible, but he insisted on staying by my side. I'm grateful he has always gotten my back since then, but I need to learn independently.

Lalo na ngayon, nandito si Papa. I need to prove myself to him. I want him to recognize me as his daughter...A useful daughter.

I snapped back when suddenly Waige was leaning in front of me. "Sabog ka ba? Nakatulala ka naman," he uttered, as he was just inches away from me.

He had already taken a bath. As usual, he was wearing his hoodie, but I was not used to seeing that he was wearing a bright color. He always wore a black hoodie or dark blue or anything dark, but now he was wearing a sky blue hoodie. I smiled as I realized something.

"We look like a couple." I smiled as I saw his hoodie matched my sky blue cardigan topped on my white tube top ko.

Nakita ko siyang tinangnan naman ang suot nya tska lumayo, at diretso ng nakatayo sa harap ko ngayon.

Nag lakad siya papunta sa kwarto niya at tumalikod sa akin, na pinagtaka ko "Saan ka pupunta?" I asked in confused.

"Magpapalit." he replied coldly.

"Ha?!"

My brows furrowed from his response. Bakit siya mag papalit? It was his privilege for him to match with me, there were a lot of guys drooling over me on our field but I just rejected them. Ako na nga ang lumalapit sa kanya, ayaw niya?

I saw him laughs as he looked back at my direction, "Joke lang, nakasimangot ka na naman dyan eh." nakangiting sabi niya at bumalik sa harap ko at inabot sa akin yung kamay niya.

Naningkit ang mata ko dahil sa ginawa niya.

"You looked like you're stressed, pasyal tayo. I would like to bring you somewhere." nakangiting pagyaya niya sa akin, habang malambot na nakatingin.

Those eyes sparkle as if shining by the sun, even though they're not. His eyes were really something I couldn't handle. Every time I stared into his eyes, I felt peace. I felt something I had never felt before. It felt like everything was under control when I was with him.

My butterflies started to dance again, shit kinikilig na naman ako!

Gaya ng dati, kinuha niya na naman ang kamay ko dahil natulala na naman ako. Dinala na rin namin ang bag namin palabas ng bahay niya para diretso na kami sa eskwelahan pagkatapos.

Jeep ulit ang sinakyan namin kasi wala namang kotse si Waige. Everything is the first time when I'm with him, but I'm not scared to do it all because he was here.

Napatingin ako sa kanya, hinahangin ang buhok niya dahil na rin sa mabilis na pagpapatakbo ng jeep na to. He really looks majestic, it looks like I'm the one who's out of his league. I can't stop smiling when he just held my hand throughout the ride without letting it go.

I'm wearing white tennis skirt and some white ankle boots. Hinawi niya yung legs ko para maidikit sa kanya at para hindi ako masilipan ng mga tao sa harap ko. He was so gentleman...

Hindi ko na alam kung saan kami napadpad. As we arrived at some place, it looked like a park in the middle of the city. Pinalilibutan parin ng kalsada ang lugar pero hindi nakakarating ang ingay ng mga sasakyan sa loob ng parke.
