Billie Joe told Mike that Adrienne mentioned that he should pick up his anxiety medication from the house. As demented as it sounds, Mike hoped that his anxiety is what caused him to say he was suicidal. He didn't like thinking that Billie wanted to end his life.
But Mike wouldn't dare to leave Billie alone after what he said. Even if Billie Joe was just saying it in the moment, he didn't want to take the risk of coming home to his dead friend.
So, trying to get Billie's mind off things, Mike thought it would be nice if they settled down for a movie. At first Billie Joe refused saying he wanted to take a nap, but Mike wanted Billie to feel as happy as possible.
Not sure if Billie could walk comfortably yet, Mike lifted him off his feet and carried him out of the dark room. Mike decided not to ask about Billie Joe's pain thinking it was still a sensitive topic for him. After all, his goal was to make Billie happy again.
Billie giggled as Mike ran down the steps with him in his arms. It was only 7:30 am by the time Billie Joe had calmed down, so the cold tile floor on Mike's feet was predictable.
"I love when you do that," Mike panted, out of breath from running down the stairs with extra weight on him.
"Do what?" Billie Joe asked, turning to him with a innocent look. Mike smiled at how naive he was.
"When you giggle. It's cute," Mike teased.
Billie playfully hit his shoulder as he sat him down on the couch. Mike only laughed and rubbed the place that he was weakly hit. Billie Joe forced back a smile.
Mike left Billie Joe on the couch to curl himself up in the blankets he been laying in almost everyday. It had even started to smell like him. Mike didn't mind. While Billie snuggles up, Mike went over to the DVD player and looked through the movies. Nothing really seemed that appealing, considering all the movies were horror films cluttered with terrible actors.
Billie huffed from the couch.
"What are you over there huffing about?" Mike grinned. Billie Joe wore a very serious annoyed face.
"Do we have to watch a movie? I'll just end up falling asleep anyway," Billie pouted. Watching movies always did that to him.
Mike sighed and stood up. He quickly turned around to see Billie Joe with the look of a five year old that didn't get his way. He smiled and walked over to him.
"Well what do you want to do then, drama queen," Mike chuckled with his hands on his hips.
Billie rolled his eyes. He didn't like to be teased.
"How about..."
Mike didn't even get to finish his sentence before he lunged on Billie Joe and started to wrestle with him. Billie squealed like a girl and tried to desperately push Mike off. Mike knew that Billie's strength wasn't at its full potential, so he made sure to be gentle.
They swung their arms back and forth trying to "hit" each other while dying of laughter. Billie Joe kicked his small legs into Mike's stomach. Mike pretended to get hit in the nuts by accident and cried out in pain. He exaggeratively rolled off of Billie onto the floor holding his balls. Billie Joe immediately freaked out.
"Oh my god Mike, I'm so sorry," Billie said, leaping from the couch and onto the floor with Mike.
Mike continued his act of being in pain. Eventually he couldn't hold back any more laughter, and busted out laughing right in Billie Joe's face. Billie's face instantly changed from worried to irritated. Mike still laughed, knowing that he hadn't actually made Billie mad.
