Sanjana slowly opened her eyes, feeling the warmth of Veer's chest beneath her cheek. As she sat up, a sense of familiarity washed over her as she spotted the book she had fallen asleep reading the night. She reached for it and placed it back on the nightstand, a small smile playing on her lips.

Glancing over at Veer, she noticed a slight frown creasing his forehead. Concerned, she gently placed a hand on his forehead, checking his temperature. "A little high," she murmured to herself, her brow furrowing with worry.

"I should have stayed awake to keep an eye on him. And I forgot to dampen the handkerchief too."

With a determined expression, Sanjana rose from the bed, her mind already planning her next steps. She swiftly made her way to the bathroom, the cool tiles soothing beneath her feet. As she freshened up, thoughts of ways to comfort Veer swirled in her mind.

Sanjana stepped out of the bathroom, her petite frame adorned in a beautiful pink anarkali suit. Her dark hair cascaded down her shoulders in loose curls, framing a face that radiated with a newfound glow.

Veer, who had been sitting on the bed, looked up as she entered the room. His eyes widened in surprise, and a faint smile spread across his lips.

"Good morning," he said, his voice husky with sleep.

"How are you feeling now?" Veer's heart skipped a beat at the sound of her voice.

"I'm feeling much better," he replied, his voice soft and sweet.

Sanjana walked over to him and sat down beside him. She couldn't help but chuckle as she noticed his messy hair, which somehow managed to look charming on him.

"Go and freshen up," she said. "I'll be back with breakfast."

She stood up and left the room, her heart filled with an unfamiliar warmth. Veer watched her go, his gaze lingering on her for a moment before he got up and headed to the bathroom.

Sanjana made her way downstairs, her in-laws already present. She greeted them warmly and headed to the kitchen to prepare tea. Once the tea was ready, she returned to the living room and served it to them.

"How is Veer feeling now?" Gautam inquired, sipping his tea.

"He's feeling better, but his temperature is still a bit high," Sanjana replied.

"The doctor will give us the results of his blood test today. I'm sure it's just a viral fever." Raghuveer nodded in agreement.

"Don't worry, Sanjana. I'm sure Veer will be back to his old self soon." Sanjana excused herself to prepare breakfast for her in-laws.
