Everyone worked together to load the generous amount of supplies onto Appa, strapping them to the saddle so they don't fly off.

"It's a long journey to the Crescent Island. You'll have to fly fast to have any chance of making it before sun down, good luck," A man hands Aang a map.

Iskra finished tying down the final supplies and they were ready to go. All those promises she made to herself all those years ago were being broken by going into the fire nation. But she wouldn't leave her friends.

"Thank you for your-."

"Go!" Aang is cut off my the man telling them to leave.

Appa flies off into the night sky as soon as the man yells go. Everyone gets comfortable as they know it will be a long ride. Sokka lays down, snoring loudly as he catches up on the sleep he missed whilst Katara and Aang talked.

Iskra sat on the back of the saddle, never taking her eyes off the earth village as they flew away from it. She refused to look ahead. If she looked ahead she'd see where they were going. And she was desperately trying to convince herself they'd weren't going there.

The sun rose and Iskra's shadow extended on Appas back. Sokka had finally woken up but surprisingly stayed quiet, wary of the journey ahead.

"Come on boy, we've got a long way to go, faster!" Aang pleads and Appa picks up the pace with a grunt.

Iskra sighs, closing her eyes briefly, when she opens them her breath gets caught in her throat. She backs away quickly from the back of the saddle.

"Iskra what wrong?" Katara asks and Iskra points to the back of the saddle.

Katara crawls forward, checking the back of the saddle but finding nothing. Her eyes then drift to the sea and she gasps.

"Aang, we got trouble!" Katara yells.

"Yeah and it's gaining fast!" Sokka points to the fire nation ship following them.

A catapult, rises from the ship with a steamy boulder ready to be thrown at them. One of the fire nation soldiers light the boulder on fire.

"Zuko just lit it on fire!" Sokka screams.

As Sokka screams, the catapult releases and the fire ball launches towards Appa.

"Fire ball!" Katara warns Aang.

"Im on it!" Aang promises.

He pulls on Appas reigns and they move out of the way just in time. As the boulder flies past Iskra pays close attention to what it's made out of. Earth. It's made out of earth, and she can bend it.

"We have to get out of Zukos range before he shoots another hot stinker at us!" Katara blocks her nose.

Iskra hasn't faced Zuko yet, since she's been with them they've just dodged him every
time.

"Can't you make Appa go any faster?" Sokka groans.

"Yeah but there's just one little problem," Aang points in front of them. "A blockade."

Multiple fire nation ships that spread out for miles across the sea were right in front of them. Theoretically they could just fly over the ships, but realistically the ships would just shoot more fireballs at them.

"If we fly north, we can go around the fire nation ships and avoid the blockade. It's the only way," Aang turns to face his friends.

"There's no time!" Katara says.
