The sun radiated, casting ominous shadows along the Omashu streets. Everyone cluttered with joy as they continued in with their days, walking mindlessly past the girl.

Her stomach curled, clawing form the inside with desperation. Any sight of water made her eyes pop, keen for it even though she never got it.

Omashu had been her home for the past couple of weeks, if you could even call it a home.

The alley wasn't comfortable or safe. Sleep barely possessed her from the noise and fear. What if she woke up back in the Fire nation? There wasn't anything worse.

Her lips parted, eyes un focusing as the sun blared down on her pale skin. Maybe it was the dehydration or the starvation but death didn't seem so out of reach now, didn't seem so awful.

A sudden shade casted over her weak body, standing tall. Her eyes squinted, trying to identify the source.

Rough hands gripped her biceps, pulling her along behind them. She was too weak to fight or even speak. Worrying took too much energy and so she let them take her.

"Iskra."

Her eyes suddenly opened.

Green and gold walls ran for miles around her, creating an awfully large space for just a throne and a man.

"King Bumi," the old man chuckled, introducing himself.

"H- how do you know my name?" Iskra stuttered.

"Don't be silly, the whole world knows your name," Bumi laughed loudly. "Everyone's looking for you, especially the Fire nation."

A groan slipped past her lips, eyes squeezing shut at the sudden feeling of repulse.

"So imagine my shock when the avatar falls into my lap," he grins.

"I'm not the avatar," Iskra shakes her head.

"Mhm," he nods cheekily. "But you are Seraphina?"

She didn't answer, she didn't have to.

With a low laugh; Bumi stood, his horrid posture straightening and his cloak dropping to reveal his muscular frame.

"You were powerful, invincible, the Fire nation needed you, and now?" Bumi chuckled. "Now your struggling to find food."

"I'm fine," she muttered.

"Why'd you leave? Didn't you enjoy the life you had there, all the fame and love?" His grin widened into a smirk.

"I want nothing to do with the Fire nation," she spoke firmly.

"Then help take it down."

Her eyes widened slightly, slowly processing the information. The dehydration in her throat was nothing compared to the utter dryness now.

"I am a part of an ancient secret society, a group that transcends the divisions of the four nations," Bumi smirked. "The Order of the White Lotus."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because our plan to destroy the Fire nation started the moment you left, and now, it's set in motion," he shrugged proudly.

Confusion swarmed her, mind running with thoughts and doubts. Then a slice of a anger wandered through, knocking down the domino's that led to rage.

"Your telling me, you've known I was entrapped in the Fire nation and didn't help?" Iskra's voice grew louder. "There was an entire society of people that could have helped and no one did?!"
