Continuing their journey north led to cooler climates and need for warmer clothes. Iskra didn't own any so they stopped by a small village at night. Katara and Iskra went looking for warm clothes whilst Sokka and Aang huddled around a nearby fire made by some villagers.

"What kind of clothes are you looking for?" Katara asked.

"Whatever keeps me warmest, the fire nation was always so hot I'm kind of exited for the cooler weather," Iskra smiled.

They found some warm earth kingdom clothes and Iskra quickly changed, the goosebumps leaving her skin after a couple days of constant cold.

As they made their way back Aang began running towards them, jumping up and down in excitement as Sokka trailed behind.

"That man just told us his great grandfather saw airbenders at the northern air temple last week!" Aang explains breathlessly.

"What?" Katara asks, unsure she heard him right.

"We have to go, there's other airbenders out there!" Aang cheers, running to Appa and Katara followed.

"Do you think there's airbenders?" Sokka asked as Iskra and him walked to Appa.

"No, but it's good to have hope," Iskra shrugged.

Iskra was told of the fire nations great conquer over the air nomads by decimating them everyday in school. She knew they were dead.

They flew all night over icy mountains and Iskra had never been more grateful for warm clothes. Guaranteed she was dressed a lot cooler than Sokka and Katara because of her natural body heat but she still got cold sometimes.

"We're almost to the northern air temple," Aang says once the sun rose. "This is where they had the championships for sky bison polo."

As they approached a large mountain with beautiful tall buildings on top Aang gasped, pointing at it and grabbing everyone's attention.

Multiple people flew on gliders around the temple, circling the buildings. Iskra, Sokka and Katara couldn't believe their eyes.

"They really are airbenders!" Katara smiled.

"No they're not," Aang slumped against Appa. "They're gliding but not flying, you can tell by the way they move; they're not airbending those people have no spirit."

A boy flew past Aang on his glider, laughing and so Aang stood up, jumping off Appa with his glider and following him.

Iskra, Katara and Sokka headed to the temple, landing on the ground and watching Aang fly with the boy.

"Go Teo! Show that bald kid how it's done!" A little kid cheered.

They flew in circles and after each other in the sky, both trying to one up the other, Iskra couldn't help but roll her eyes.

After a while Aang flew back, landing next to them smoothly. However Teo had a rough landing, drifting against the ground as he came to halt. Kids came and took the glider off his chair.

Teo had brown hair which was mostly tied up into a bun. His legs were strapped together with white bandage, preventing them from moving and placing him in a wheel chair.

"Your a real airbender, you must be the avatar," Teo realises, wheeling towards Aang. "That's amazing! I've heard stories about you!"

"Thanks," Aang smiles.

"Wow! This glider chair is incredible," Sokka admires Teo's chair.

"If you think this is good, wait until you see the other stuff my dad designed," Teo wheels away and they follow him, excited to see what else his father made.
