An uncomfortable silence surrounded everybody as they flew to the crescent shaped island on Appa.

After Iskra's outburst and refusal to talk about it, everyone stayed quiet. For the entire trip. No one spoke a word. Not even Sokka.

The sky was getting darker and Iskra feared they wouldn't make it in time and that it would be her fault because she couldn't control her anger.

Iskra couldn't stop thinking about what happened. The look on Sokkas face as he begged her to get on Appa. She couldn't shake the uncomfortable feeling.

"Are we going to make it in time?" Katara asks Aang quietly but Iskra still heard.

Aang shrugged his shoulders, opening up the map he was given and pointing where they were going.

"Hey," Sokka whispers, sitting next to Iskra.

Iskra returns his hello with a soft smile, her eyes glistening slightly from guilt. If they didn't make it in time she doesn't know what she would do.

"Wait, there it is!" Aang suddenly yells. "The island where Roku's dragon took me."

Appa flew down towards the island covered in lava from a spewing volcano. As soon as they touched the ground Appa collapsed as he yawned.

"You did it buddy, nice flying!" Aang cheered.

"Oh, you must be tired," Katara rubs Appas stomach lovingly.

"No I'm good refreshed and ready to fight some firebenders," Sokka smirks, stretching his body.

"I was talking to Appa," Katara sighs.

Iskra let's out a soft chuckle at their bickering, and Katara looks over to her. Iskra immediately avoids eye contact, crossing her arms over her chest.

"We made it in time, its ok," Katara placed a reassuring hand on Iskra's shoulder.

Iskra nods, smiling at the younger girl as she feels a wave of relief wash over her. Katara was right, they made it and everything's okay.

"Maybe someone should stay with Appa?" Aang suggests.

Iskra steps forward, raising her hand as she pats Appa. She didn't want to go anywhere near the fire nation. But now that she's in it, she'll avoid what she can.

"Okay, we'll be back, if anyone comes yell ou- just find a way to tell us," Sokka shrugs as they walk away, leaving Iskra alone.

Iskra sighs, sitting down as she draws in the dirt with her finger. She was drawing her home, or at least what she remembered of it.

It's been a while since Iskra's been alone. After 5 years of constant loneliness, she didn't miss it. Dreaded it really but she dreaded the fire nation more.

Her fingertip sent a shock through her nerves and up to her brain when it touches the ground again. Her head shoots up when she senses a ship had parked on the beach that connected to Roku island.

Iskra stands up, crouching down as she slowly walks towards where she felt it. There was only 1 set of foot steps, but they felt strong. She ducked behind a rock, popping her head up slightly to see who it was.

They were dressed in fire nation clothes and had a strong build; broad shoulders and intimidating biceps. Their face was in a constant scowl and they had a unique haircut, not to mention the scar.
