Coughs erupted from her pale body; water pooling under her as she gasped for air. The sun beamed down, tickling her skin with burns.

Screams sounded through her ears, causing her to flinch as she ducked briefly. Realising she was ok, Iskra stood up, wobbling and holding her head in pain.

When her vision began clear; terror stroke before her, flames arising as people ran and hid

Fire Nation.

Rage bubble through her burning skin, energy running through her as she stormed towards them, faltering slightly but not enough to stop her. Grunts of ignored pain left her dry mouth, limping towards the scared villagers.

"Stop!" She screamed but it came out as a squeak.

The firebenders didn't pay her any mind, continuing to attack and destroy. It infuriated her. She stood in front of the villagers, raising her hands to protect them with the earth. Nothing happened.

Iskra rises her fist, striking a flame through the air. Nothing happened. Horror flashed across her eyes as she peered down at her trembling hands.

"Wait!" The commander stopped their attacks.

He peered at Iskra, furrowing his brows from her familiar face and eyes. She was too busy fuelled with fear from her lost bending to notice.

"Seraphina."

Wrists and ankles bound by thick metal and attached by chains that dragged loudly across the floor was all the halls could hear.

Guards circled her, weapons aimed and ready if she so much as even breathed wrong. The great palace doors creaked with might; revealing the Fire lord.

"Seraphina," Azula whispered mockingly by her father.

Ozai stood, walking to Iskra as the guards separated from her. She kept her head down, avoiding eye contact to fight the tears. She had escaped. After years of torture she escaped and now she was back.

"Look at me."

Iskra's nostrils flared; eyes peering through her brows before tilting her head back to look at him intimidatingly.

"You betrayed the Fire Nation," He began to circle her. "After we provided for you and expressed generous hospitality you betrayed the Fire Nation!"

Iskra stayed strong.

"You could have been great," Ozai scoffed. "You still have a chance though."

Her tough demeanour faltered slightly at his words. She straightened her back, looking forward to ignore him.

"You can tell us where the avatar is, or, we'll have a problem," He shrugged, standing in front of her.

"I don't know where the avatar is, I haven't seen him in days."

"Wrong choice."

Painful screams erupted from her torn mouth; echoing off the icy metal walls. Bruises formed on her wrists as she tugged relentlessly, trying to escape the fire. The floor beneath her was open and flames trickled at her feet.
