Alliesha (POV)

Sa nagdaang mga taon, tuluyan ko nang nakamit ang mga pinaghirapan ko. I totally feel so proud of myself. Kung may trophy lang sa pagiging masipag, siguro napuno na ang bahay ko.

"Congrats, Anak! Sa wakas, natupad mo na din ang mga pangarap mo!" Proud na saad ni Papa.

Nandito sila ngayon sa America para i-celebrate ang victory ko. I was so proud of myself to continue fighting every challenge I encountered in my whole college journey.

"Congrats, Anak ko! Proud na proud kami sa 'yo dahil sa katapangan mong harapin ang mga kahirapan mo bilang isang estudyante!" I'm also proud of myself, Ma! Just like how both of you are proud of me.

"Ate! Sana masarap ang handaan mamaya, congrats pala!" Handaan lang naman ang gusto nitong dakilang epal.

"We're so proud of You, Alliesha, and because of that, we decided to help you build your first small business here!" That was the greatest gift ever.

"Thank You, Tiya and Uncle! I'm so pleased to have you both in my life." Another chapter again in my life. Ang ganda ng sequel ng buhay ko!

And here I am now, proudly building my first business, and this is the result of my hard work. I couldn't believe I'll make it properly. Wala muna akong ibang iisipin ngayon kundi ang pamilya ko at ang kauna-unahang negosyo ko.

"Wow! Alliesha, this was good! I can't believe na ganoon ka kadaling bumuo gayong kaka-graduate mo lang." Thanks to God, He gave me this wonderful opportunity.

"Yeah! I'm so proud of you, anak! This celebration will be the greatest day!" I love that, Ma!

"Ang pagtatapos mo ng pag-aaral, anak, ang siyang tagumpay ko!" And with that, I cried. Hearing the words that motivate me from my young self, and now, the words of my father.

"This wasn't my wish, but this is more than a wish that everyone like me could dream of." Yes, for real.

"And your new journey as a great version of yourself was ready to come." I know, Uncle, and I'll make sure I will be doing my best there! Parang isang knight na handang lumaban.

"Maybe you will encounter difficult challengs in the future." I prepare myself, Pa!

"And we are so sure that you will be the proudest woman to bravely overcome all of those challenges, Ate!" Thank You, Mark!

"Watching your victory, anak, will be our victory too!" Thanks to y'all support. 'Di ba, you parents will be the first ones who will be overjoyed knowing you finally get the best for you.

"Kakayanin ang lahat para sa aking pinakamamahal na pamilya!" And I'll make sure of that.

After that, we all went home with prosperous hearts and minds. Seeing them very happy like that makes me cry even more. It's like a great image, seeing them with tears of joy in their eyes.

"Alliesha?" Out of nowhere, Tiya's voice appeared.

"Tiya! Is there a problem?"

"Kanina pa kita tinawag, pero nakatulala ka lang." Ganoon ba?

"Wala naman, Tiya, medyo pagod lang ako. Alam mo naman, kabago lang ng opening ng restaurant ko." Paano pa kaya kapag marami na?

"Ganyan talaga ang buhay, pero kalaunan masasanay ka rin." Siguro. Parang isang life lesson na paulit-ulit.

"Salamat, Tiya! Kung hindi dahil sa tulong mo, hindi ko maaabot kung anong meron ako ngayon. Malaking pasasalamat ko talaga ito sa 'yo." Ang swerte ko talaga sa Tiya kong 'to. Parang may fairy godmother ako sa totoong buhay.

"Naku, wala 'yun!" Pero para sa akin, swerte pa rin 'yun.

"Mommy!" Naku naman?

"Baby! Why are you here?" Kababatang tao, ang lakas ng tinig.

"I'm hungry, po!" He's 3 years old na and sobra na rin kung magpasaway.

"Okay, I'll get some food for you, wait here with your Tita Alliesha." Ang sweet naman niya sa baby niya. Sana ako rin ay... wala pala akong baby!

"Tita, congratulations!" Alam ba kaya nito ang sinabi niya? Pero okay na rin.

"Thank You, Baby Zack!" At sumimangot naman ito, kita niyo na.

"Tita, don't call me baby, Mommy is only the one who's allowed to call me baby." Ang OA!

Naalala ko tuloy si Mark noon, ganito din 'yun, pero hindi englishero.

"Okay, chanak Zack!" Sarap talaga nitong asarin!

"Fine! You can call me baby, not that chanak, I'm not a chanak." 'Yan, ayaw rin naman pala matawag na chanak.

Maya-maya lang ay dumating na rin si Tiya na may dalang pagkain para kay Mark.

My day was all so stressful this past few months. Hindi kasi madali; kailangan pa ng maraming papeles. Lumago naman ang restaurant ko, and now, I'm thinking of building another business. Masasabi kong hindi talaga madali, but with the warm support of my parents, I made it.

"Ate! Dahan-dahan sa pag-focus, baka wala ka nang mahanap na jowa diyan." Ayoko naman ring magka-jowa.

"Mark! I don't care about that thing, what's important for me now is my business." Kaloka!

"Ang workaholic mo naman, but there's one thing na kulang. Even you have everything, Ate, hindi makakabigay sa 'yo nito ang pag-focus mo sa business mo." Tinaasan ko naman ito ng kilay.

"At ano naman 'yun?"

"Love from someone you want to be with forever. Even family can't give it. Remember, God gave Eve to Adan para may kasama siya dahil hindi makakabuti na mag-iisa ang isang tao sa buhay." Biblical sayings nga naman, but it's true.

"You have a point, but not in the point na gusto ko munang maging financial stable bago uli papasok sa isang relasyon."

Naiintindihan naman niya, kaya ayaw ko lang talaga sa part na ginawa niyang tambayan ang office ko.

Sa ngayon, marami na akong nabuong negosyo. Some are boarding houses, beach resorts, restaurants in the Philippines na pinamamahala ko muna sa parents ko, which is sa kanila naman talaga 'yun.

Pero nandito pa rin ako sa America because dito ko kasi unang binuo ang negosyo ko. Dito ako nagsimula, and I don't want to leave it.
