It's early October now, the house Chris and I choose is finally ours and this weekend we've got family around to help us do a few things around the house like repainting a few rooms and start building some furniture we bought. When the old owners renovated the house last year they left all the rooms white and we want to change a few colors and aside from the kitchen, guest bedroom and the studio all the other rooms aren't furnished.
We decided our room is gonna have at least a blue wall and the bathroom will also follow that theme.

The two extra rooms upstairs are gonna stay empty, hoping to turn them into a nursery soon and the other will remain a studio. We haven't bought everything for the house cause there's some things we're bringing from our home like the tv, the living room furniture and the couch the we only changed last year so it's still new, while for our bedroom we're gonna change pretty much everything, the bed for sure, there's already a built in closet so we might only add a little vanity and add the tv. The kitchen is all new so we're probably just donate the appliances we've got right now to some charity.
The backyard is also furnished, barbecue as well and we like everything so we won't change it. And of course we need to add the curtains that already arrived!
"Everyone just arrived!" Chris says and by everyone he means our mothers and siblings or actually Carly stayed home with Ethan and her husband Ryan came, our mothers also brought lunch for everyone while we have the fridge full of drinks. "Hello!" I say as they all come in "Hi, this looks beautiful!" Sebastian says coming to hug me and high five with Chris and everyone else does the same.
After talking for a few minutes we all got to work. Chris and Sebastian decided to go paint our bedroom while Scott and Ryan are putting washable wallpaper in a few spots in the kitchen especially behind the stove and those counters. My mom, Lisa, Shanna and I decided to grab the ladder and put up the curtains in the living room since we decided not to paint it any other color. We opted for white/beige ish curtains for the living room. "Shanna and I will go up and you'll hand us" I say to our mothers I carefully make my way up the stairs and let them hand me the first part of the curtain so I can hang it up...

Sebastian and I are in Sofia and I bedroom at the new house and he's helping me paint the wall we're our bed is gonna be in a blue color. "You know most of people like us just pay other people to do this kind of stuff" he says "I know...but I like doing this with my family" "That's another thing I really appreciate you for man" "Thanks" "Don't want to pry but, how things are going with Sofia's injections?" "It's uh...about ten days ago she took the first test and it came back negative, and while we knew the odds of having the first test positive were very slim it still hurt you know...like my heart broke seeing her expression. The look she had on her face, which was mine also when she didn't look at me, just hurts..." "I'm sorry Chris...and I know you're trying be brave for her, just don't make yourself brake. I'm always here, I'll always be willing to listen to you venting about anything. You're the brother I never had, we're family and even tho I don't know how this must be feeling like I know it's not easy...so whenever you want you know where to find me" he says with a hand on my shoulder I drop the brush and bring him into a big hug "Thank you, I needed that" "And I'm not the only person you can't talk to, remember this Chris, we don't want to see you crashing down" "I won't..." "Ok, now let's get back to work before the girls come in here and tell us we're slow..." "Yeah..."
We kept on working and while we waited for the first coat to dry we started bringing in the garages all the new furniture we bought since we left it on the floor in front of the house and it spooks its about to rain. Once that was down and we got back in we all took a break to drink something and our mothers started to take the lunch out, they made two kinds of salads and some tiny sandwich things. "Come eat up!" My mom calls and everyone just walked really fast to the table.

After filling our bellies up we all got back to work, Seb and I with the second coat in our bedroom, Ryan and Scott starting to built a couple of this g were they could and the ladies started to clean up a little. By 5pm most things were done and we sent everyone home, especially because the electricity contract is still not up so it's getting darker by the minute. "Should we go home?" Sofia asks "Are you tired?" "A little but not that much why?" I wiggle my eyebrows at her and she laughs "Chris! We don't even have a bed yet..." "There's the guest room...plus we're young who needs a bed? Like at home we're always on the bed.." I say walking closer to her and resting my hands on her hips "Chris..." "It's ok if you don't want to baby..." "I'm sorry it's just, we've been having sex basically everyday to try and have a baby and right now I just don't feel like it...I'm sorry" she says looking at the floor "Baby" I say gently lifting her chin so she can look at me "you never have to apologize for not wanting to have sex with me, never ever. And it's ok to not feel like it, we're going through something that it's not easy and it's emotionally draining from time to time so it's ok if you need a break, I'll be here when you want to" "Why are you so nice?" "Because my mom thought me to always be nice to people and respect them especially the ones I love the most, and you, my love, are at the top of my list" I say gently kissing the tip of her nose and back away again "I love you so much Chris" "I love you so much more...now let's go home, take a nice bath and get in bed to cuddle up, what do you think?" "Sounds perfect...cinnamon flavored bubbles in the tub?" She asks pouting "Anything you want" I tell her kissing her lips before grabbing her hand and heading out, already savoring our cuddles in bed...
