33 - Taking it easy

*Sofia pov*

It's a couple of days after and I've been taking it easy, mostly staying inside and Chris made sure of that! He's been very helpful as usual but I'm getting really bored so o texted our siblings and invited them over right after lunch so we can all chill and catch up a bit since Scott has been in LA lately.

"Chris!"
"Need something?" He says running to me
"A kiss, and I wanted to tell you that our siblings and partners are coming over in about an hour..."
"Here's your kiss" he says bending done to capture my lips in a sweet slow kiss and then giving one to the belly too "and uhm ok...do I need to do anything?" He asks
"Nope! Sam said Seb and her are gonna grab a few donuts and Ryan was already and the grocery store so he picked up a few drinks"
"Ok...and what are we gonna do?"
"Whatever...I think things are mostly gonna revolve around the baby"
Chris nods at that and sits down next to me rubbing my belly some
"Maybe we could share our plans for the baby's room and see who's available to help me?"
"That's good, and I can also help..."
"You need to rest sweetheart..." he says and kisses my head
"But I'll get extremely bored..." I whine
"I know, and I'm sorry, but I don't want to risk your health if the baby's..."
"You're right..."
"I'm sorry baby"
"Mhm...sorry I'm broken..." I mumble
"What?" He says softly reaching to gently grasp my chin so I can look back up at him "you're not broken my love, where is this coming from?"
"I just...after what happened the other day I realized that if wouldn't have PCOS our baby would be safer..."
"We can't know that for sure love, and you're not broken. This isn't your fault, these things happen unfortunately and we can only make adjustments to our lives to try and live it at best, you know if I could I take all away from you. I love you so much Sofia, I'd never think you're broken, your the love of my life and the love of my life is fucking perfect" he says sweetly as our foreheads slightly touch, then he kisses my tears away lastly connecting our lips in a searing kiss.
"I don't deserve you..." I sniffle
"Oh baby you deserve so much more" he says pulling me into a warm hug, that even tho it's another super hot day, I welcome cause I really needed it.
"I love you Sofia"
"I love you too Chris"

After an hour all our siblings are here, Carly and Ryan of course brought little Ethan, Shanna and Scott came together and last but not least Sam and Sebastian arrived with the donuts.
"Alright let's get whatever this is started!" Scott says plopping down on the couch
"It's a...siblings hangout?" I say reaching for my favorite donut, chocolate and salted caramel...
"Cool" Seb says
Half an hour later we're all laughing about something I don't even remember anymore but it was such a stupid funny thing
"God if I laugh more I'm gonna owe my pants!" I say feasting my back on the couch and all the boys laugh "don't you laugh at a pregnant lady!" I scowl at them and they all get serious again mumbling "sorry"
"About pregnant ladies..." Ryan starts getting all of our attention...is this what I think it is?
"Your baby is gonna be 6 months old when she'll get a new cousin!" Carly says sending us all in overexcited reactions
"Shut the fuck up!" Shanna says from were she's sat and Chris stands up and hugs his big sis
"Congratulations!" He says doing a little happy dance with her
"Awwww!" Sam says "I'm happy for you guys
"Guys!!! So it's a March baby?"
"Yup!" Ryan answers as I hug him
"Congrats!"
We celebrate with another drink and another donut and then after she shows us pictures and videos we start to talk about our baby nursery and how we want it to come out, some pieces of furniture have arrived, were missing just a couple that will be here by next week and then we can finally start to put it together. We explain to them how we want the walls to turn out and that we've got wallpaper. Scott checks his calendar and says that next week he's available to help, Sebastian and Sam are also but Shana, Carly and Ryan are going on a little trip together, but that's fine, I hope they're gonna have fun.

It's about three hours later when they all leave after helping Chris cleaning the mess we made and we're alone once again, Chris also agreed to help Sebastian in two weeks moving Sam's things into her new apartment.
As Chris was showering I got a call both from Scarlett and Elise and we catches up a bit, Elise is currently in New Zealand for work and she's gonna be there till November and she'll unfortunately miss the baby's birth...while Scarlett told me that she's actually free next week so she wants to come here and help us out with the nursery too.
"Hey..." Chris says coming out
"Hi"
"Were you talking with someone?"
"Face timed with scar and Elise"
"Oh I thought I heard their voices! What did they say?"
"Scarlett said she's gonna come next week to help us out"
"Oh good, I missed spending some time with her!" He says starting to work on our dinner as I follow him and sit down at the kitchen island
"And Elise told me she's got an extension of her work contract and she'll be home around thanksgiving..."
"Oh I'm sorry baby" he says turning as pressing a kiss to my forehead
"It's fine, I'm happy for her, she's accomplishing lots of things!"
"That's right!"

We end the day by staying outside and watch the stars while eating Smores and then cuddling up in bed.
