Halloween is finally here! Sebastian said he got everything ready for the party tonight, it's gonna be a kid friendly party between us siblings and respective partners and kids, nothing too big, made to spend some quality time together!
Chris helped Sebastian with Scott earlier today to put up all the last decorations and make sure they had enough candies for the kids knocking on his door. I cooked a couple of things to bring, I did a sweet potato sausage lasagna and a pumpkin pie. I just finished putting them away so they're ready to be brought over. While Chris watched Jade I took a long hot shower, the weather is definitely getting chilly now and I love taking hot showers. I did some exfoliation on my body and once it was rinsed off I got out and applied my favorite moisturizer. I didn't wash my hair cause they're gonna stay all night under a wig so I figured I would wash them in the morning... I then started to get ready in our bedroom and grow went to shower. Jade was happily laying in the middle of our bed surrounded by pillows so she won't go anywhere and I always kept an eye on her while doing my make up. The make up took quite a bit cause sandy went big on it in the movie so I wanted to do it accordingly. When Chris was out of the shower I helped him doing Danny typical ducktail hairstyle cause he told me he tried but couldn't "Here...all done now stop pouting..." I say lightly kissing his lips "Thank you baby" he says smiling He put on his pants then sat on the bed cuddling a bit with Jade and starting to get her ready. We decided to put her in her bat costume and bring the other one in case she needs a change of clothes later.
Once the three of us were all ready we got in the car and drove the short distance to Sebastian's house. The outside was fully decorated, skeletons and carved pumpkins all around. "Welcome!" He says opening the door for us "awww don't you look cute!" He says taking a peak at Jade "You guys look good too" he adds "Thanks, you too" He dressed as Ken and I bet Sam is going as Barbie... "Well come on in, take a seat, eat, drink..." "Thanks pal" Chris tells him
Everyone was there already, we were the last ones, so when we sat down we started eating the Halloween themed appetizers while the lasagna was warming up in the oven. "This is nice, it's been some time since we all spent some time together" Shanna says "Yeah" "I guess that now we've got a few occasions, there's thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, everyone in town?" Scott asks "We are" I say "Me too, Sam and I have a trip planned but it's not until after New Year" Sebastian answers "Oh and about that, I had to ask you if I could take those days off?" Sam says sheepishly smiling at me "Of course you can" "I didn't even tell you the dates..." "Ok what dates?" "3rd Jan to the 10th?" "You're good..." "You're the best boss ever!" "Love you girl" "Love you too" She then proceeded to come hug me and since she was there she stole Jade from me...that girl...

We ate chatting about pretty much everything and catching up a bit, the boys of course talked about football games while us girls gossiped a bit... The first rang to the door came at 8.30 ish, four kids dressed as Disney characters showed up for trick or treat and from there every ten minutes one of us got up to open the door and give candies to a bunch of kids. None of them recognized Sebastian or Chris thanks to their costumes but more then once kids showed up dressed as Avengers characters and one even as Bucky, which I thought was so cute, metal arm and all!
When it was around 11 pm we all went our separate ways, Jade and Ethan sleeping soundly since 9pm and the continues bell ringing didn't wake them up... Once we got home we took our costumes off, Chris showered again cause his hair was full of gel so he needed to get rid of that while I fed Jade and make her fall back asleep. "Tonight was nice" Chris says laying down next to me "It was, the costumes were so good too and the food!" "Yup! We should start this tradition, doing a Halloween party between us siblings and our kids, every year a different house host...wouldn't it be nice?" "I think it's a great idea, we should tell the others!" "We should, but now let's get some sleep. It's getting pretty late..." he observes letting me take a look at my phone, jeez it's 1am already! We kiss goodnight, more then once, and then fall asleep comfortably in each other's arms...
