Next week we celebrate Sebastian's birthday 30th birthday and we are all organizing his party. He wants his closest friends, our families and Sam of course. We're doing it and our moms house and we're all pitching in to cook something, it'll be an simple thing. Chris and I already got him his gift and we can't wait to give it to him, it's actually two gifts...one is material and the other is him being our baby godparent along with someone else, but we'll reveal the other name later on...we know he'll be excited.
So we're right at the beginning of August and Chris planned a last date for us before baby girl is born. We're getting ready right now to go out for lunch, he chose lunch instead of dinner cause he knows I'll be more tired later in the day. "Are you ready baby?" He asks coming back into our bedroom after making sure everything we might need is ready "Yup!" "You look lovely" he says coming to kiss my head "can we take a picture?" "Absolutely" I watch as he places his phone on the wooden furniture and sets the timer for 10 seconds, then comes back and takes his place, hands on my belly and leaning to capture my lips in a slow kiss until we hear the click sound. "Now I'm not sure if I want to get out of the house..." I mumble making him chuckle "Come on Mrs Evans..."

We get into our car and he drives to a nearby park, this park is absolutely the cutest ever, it even has a small pond with ducks and baby ducklings that are absolutely adorable. Many couples come here for a picnic or just laying in the sun and enjoy nature. "Picnic? U didn't see you get the things for it..." "That's because someone else did it for me..." he says helping me out of the car and leading me to our usual spot when I see a nice wood end table fully decorated and full with food containers. "Our romantic picnic date" he says stepping slightly behind me and guiding me with a hand on the small of my back. "Awww Chris..." I whisper "Glad you like it baby" he says kissing my jeans before helping me sit down in a comfortable position "Should we dig in?" He asks and I nod at him, he pours some bubbly apple juice into two wine glasses and we clink them together "To us!" He says smiling "To us!"
We dig in and the food he picked out is absolutely amazing, couldn't have asked for a better picnic! We even got dessert that was into a portable cooler, one of my cravings right now that are chocolate covered strawberries and a mini cheesecake. Once we were all down Chris put everything away and put down in the grass a blanket and sat on it, making grabby hands at me and I giggled loudly at him. He helps me down and I rest my back to his chest and both our hands are running over my belly. "Happy?" "Yes Chris, thanks for this date, it was very cute" "Only the best for my girl" I snuggle close to him and close my eyes to better enjoy the moment. I can hear the water splashing lightly, birds chirping around us, the good smell of a flower and of course Chris's cologne that I've always loved.
When it was about 3pm we decided to head back home.

After a nice shower and changing into comfier clothes we moved to the nursery to get the baby's bag ready, got a couple of outfits, blankets and all the things we might need for her, then we got into our bedroom and started on my bag, first thing first my documents for the hospital. We put my clothes in and the most comfortable gowns I have, my toiletries, big pads, nipple covers and nipple cream, extra underwear and comfiest bras ever. We also packed a couple of things for Chris just to be sure, it took us a couple of hours to get everything ready and Chris put the bags in his car. "Uh...we did it!" He says high fiving me "Yup, now we just have to wait" I say smiling up at him as we rest a bit on the couch "Now we wait..." he says smiling too "I love you both so much and I can't wait to soak in all this precious little moments with you" "Can't wait either Chris..." I say snuggling more into him as his hand cradles my belly. I feel him kiss my head a few times before falling into a peaceful nap....
