Jade, Sam and I flew back to Boston a few days after Chris's birthday. We got back to work and did many interviews to find the best two people to hire for the bookstore, and after about two weeks we found the perfect guys. Their enamel are Thomas and Elliot, they're a couple and they're about the same age as Sam. They are so cute and kind, they got settled in very quickly just like Sam did. We're both very happy to have two more people in our team, we work on separate days like I do Monday's Wednesday and Saturdays with same one week and the boys will do the rest, the week after that we switch days and partner for the week. They have met Jade and they absolutely love her to bits!
But now it's a new week and a new day! I just arrived in New York where I will be meeting Chris for his Snowpiercer premiere! I just got to the hotel, I've got picked up by Chris's assigned driver and I'm waiting in the hotel lobby for Megan, Chris's publicist. "Hey girl" I hear and turn around seeing Megan "Hi!" I say sharing a hug with her "You look gorgeous as always, how was the flight?" "Thank you and so do you! It was good thanks! Is Chris making you go mad yet?" "Not yet no...I love the guy he just makes me go crazy cause he is always nervous but I don't mind, you know that" "I do, you're god sent" "Let's go to your man, then you're gonna have to show me a video of Jade pulling herself up, Chris told me it's on your phone and I absolutely need to see it!" "I'll send it to you so you'll have it!" I say chuckling, another person that absolutely adores Jade "Perfect!"
We reach the Chris's floor and Megan gets into his room, or better yet our room. "Your girl Mr Evans" Megan announces once we step in making both Chris and I laugh. I hug Chris tight to me and he does just the same, we haven't seen each other since June 16th and today is July 28th. "I'm so glad you're here" "Are you ok?" I ask still hugging him and see that Megan quietly leaves the room to give us some time and space "I'm doing good now" "Glad I could help" He steps away a little and smiles down at me, I reach his cheek with my hand to stroke it and he leans into my touch, then I kiss his lips softly and he does the same. "Megan left your dress right there" "Good, we should both get ready" "Yup. You sure you don't want a make up artist or someone that does your hair?" "I'm sure, ain't worry I just plan on doing really simple make up and braid my hair...do you think that will look ok?" "You'll always look perfect baby" he says before kissing me one last time before we started getting ready. I took a very quick shower just to freshen up and then started with my hair first and then my makeup while Chris talked details with Megan. Once I was all dolled up we both got dressed. Chris got in his white shirt and dark blue suit pants and jacket while I got into my dark blue dress, to match his outfit. "Ready to go guys?" "Yup!"
The ride there for Chris as always was stressful but I managed to calm him down a little and once we were in the carpet and he met with the rest of the cast I could visibly see him getting adjusted to this situation, making him tell jokes while doing interviews and being his happy self as always. "Chris! It's good to see you again and congratulations on this movie!" "Thank you Mark!" "I see you're accompanied by your wife, Sofia!" "Hi!" "I'm so glad, we're all so glad to see you doing better!" "Thank you so much, it has been a hard couple of months but I'm good now, I was so lucky to catch this on time" "I hear congratulations are in order to you aswell, Chris I'm sure you won't mind that your wife is in the spotlight too right now..." "Not at all, go ahead" "I've seen the foundation you've opened, the both of you, 'Saving Hope'" "We did, I'm proud of what we did" "As you should be! I checked out the site and it's amazing I can't wait to see you get to work!" "Oh we've got a little something planned towards the end of the year!" "Good! Thanks for doing that and now back to you Chris...how was doing this movie?" "It was good! Amazing cast, we loved filming together, Tilda and Octavia are amazing filming partners as well as the rest of our cast. It wasn't easy filming cause as you'll see later there are some parts of this movie that were difficult filming on a human side, a bit harsh I would say, but I can't spoil anything for you. For sure it was amazing that once we were done filming, you know we've filmed in Prague, and we would get done filming and get off of set and just wonder the streets do the beautiful city Prague is, that was wonderful!" "We're so glad to hear that and I can't wait to be in that theater in just a little bit to see it, thank you so much for your time guys and I wish you the best!" "Thanks pal!" "Thank you Mark!"
