It's the last day of May and I'm about to get on a plane to go to Los Angeles to start filming for the new Captain America movie.
We're currently in the lounge at my gate, I've said goodbye to the rest of the family yesterday and now it's just us three. "It's time..." Sofia says as I open my eyes and look down at her "I know..." We were snuggling up and I was taking it all in, I know in ten days they're gonna be with me so we can celebrate my birthday but leaving is never easy especially after all we've been through in the last couple of months "Go be a movie star" she says smiling brightly "I can't wait to see you again" I tell her and as I'm about to kiss her Jade catches our attention "and you too ladybug" I say to her kissing her forehead and making her giggle, then kissing her mom full on the lips. "I love you so much baby" "Love you too Chris" "Kiss dada" I say to Jade as I pull her against me and let her put a slobbery kiss on my cheek "awww best kisses ever" I hug them one last time and then I walk through the gate and watch them wave me goodbye.
Thankfully the flight went over pretty quickly and as soon as I got my bags I got on a taxi that brought me over to my hotel. The rest of the cast and the Russo's are also staying there so I should be meeting them at dinner time. Now I have some time to myself, first thing first a shower to get all the airport and plane stuff off, and once I'm all done and feel refreshed I lay on the big comfy bed, answer a few texts and I oil a nice power nap. Around 7 pm I started to get ready, dressing in jeans and a white polo shirt before going down to meet the rest of the crew at the hotel restaurant where we've got a room reserved for us tonight.
"Oh Evans!" I hear Cobie saying before I even step into the room "Hey, it's so good to see you again" I say as we hug "how are you?" "Good, you?" "Good thanks" "Hey boy" "Samuel!" We hug too and they bring me over to our table where the Russo's are sat already and Anthony Mackie, our new co star that's gonna be playing the Falcon. "Scarlett missing?" I ask sitting down after shaking the Russo's hands "Yup..." "It's nice to see you again Chris" "You too Mackie, how you doing?" "Pumped for this!" "It's gonna be a blast trust me" "Glad to hear your wife is doing better..." he says "She is yes, you're gonna be meeting her actually this time around" I tell him recalling that when we did "what's your number?" He was supposed to meet her but then she got stuck in Boston for work. "Good, can't wait. Is she gonna be the princess too?" "Jade's coming with her yup" "Good!" I laugh at his antics and then finally Scarlett shows up "Sorry to make you wait fellas..." "Practicing lines for black widow?" I ask her as I stand and hug her tight "Maybe..."
We all had a lovely, calm dinner and talked about pretty much everything regarding work and personal life. We also indulged in dessert and a glass of wine to celebrate the start of this adventure. Once it all ended I invited Scarlett, Cobie and Mackie back to my room so we could talk more. I showed Anthony and Cobie my little girl Oates pictures after they begged for it. "She's so cute!" Cobie says "Can't wait to cuddle her" Anthony says making Scarlett put on a serious face and saying "I get auntie privileges..." She makes us all laugh and after we talked some more Anthony and Cobie go to their own rooms while Scarlett stays a bit more and together we FaceTime Sofia and stay on the phone with her older about half an hour.
After saying goodnight to Scarlett as well I took my clothes off and layed in bed in only boxers cause it's pretty hot in Los Angeles. I take my phone in my hands again and open mine and Sofia's chat
Handsome💙 I love you so fucking much Sofia. You're my everything, don't ever forget that. I already miss you and I can't wait to have you back in my arms and to kiss you, you and our beautiful princess💙💙💙
