The league just got back from a mission. Superman was exhausted and had a few bruises but he would survive. He looked over at the rest of the league to see them in a similar state, all except for Batman who was the only human in the group.

Superman used his X-Ray vision to check him over, seeing that he only had a broken ankle Superman relaxed. "Hey, Batman," He said walking over to the Caped Crusader, where he sat on a chair.

Batman looked up at Superman to see intense blue eyes staring back at him. "Hey, what can I help you with?" He asked, wincing slightly as he moved his leg.

"No, Bats, it's what I can do for you," Superman replied, making his face grow.

"Um...uh, what can you do for me?" Batman asked, looking away.

"I can help you to the infirmary and get a cast on the ankle," Superman said, motioning towards his ankle.

Bruce glances at his ankle and then away from Superman. "My ankle is fine," He said, trying to sound convincing despite the pain.

"Really?" Superman said, crossing his arms over his chest, his muscles bulging and Bruce's eyes following the movement.

"Yes, it is, I'm just tired, so I'm resting," He said, not meeting the other hero's stare and biting his lip.

Clark sighed and looked at Batman's face. It was clear to see the bat was in pain from the way he chewed on his lips and clenched his fist.

"Bats you're obviously in pain, and I know you broke your ankle," He said, frowning. Why was Batman refusing help? He wondered to himself.

"How would you know that?" Batman asked defensively.

"X-ray vision," Clark said, smirking knowing the other man can't deny his injury anymore.

He smirked as he watched the other man sigh in defeat. "Fine, It's broken," Batman admitted.

Clark couldn't help but feel a little smug, at the admission. He held out his hand to the Crusader and received a questioning look in return. "Let's get you to the infirmary, then get you home," He said, softly smiling.

Bruce looked at the hand offered to him then up at the bright blue eyes staring at him, he placed his hand in Superman's and let the man slowly pull him to his feet and led him to the infirmary.

After they had gotten Bruce's ankle in a cast, Superman suggested he take Batman home to make sure he got there ok, but Bruce being Bruce denied it. Sure he would absolutely love to have the beautiful superhero in his house but not when he was injured and barely able to move.

In the end, Bruce agreed so now Superman was helping him up the stairs to his bedroom with Alfred close behind. They entered the bedroom and Superman waited patiently as Alfred helped him get changed and into bed.

Clark watched as Batman lay in bed, mask now. "So, you're Bruce Wayne," He said, smiling at the man.

"Yes, I am," Bruce said, briefly glancing at him before blushing, which didn't go unnoticed by the other man either.

"I'm going head out. Stay in bed and call me if you need any." Clark offered, exiting the room. He passed Alfred in the halls as he headed towards the door. "He won't stay in bed, you know?" The man said, making Clark sigh and nod.

"I know, if you can't keep him there, call me, and I'll find a way to keep him there." He said before exiting the house and heading off into the night.
