Bruce sighed as he watched Kal walk down the hall of the lookout. He hadn't seen Bruce yet and Bruce was happy he didn't. Every day since Joker had told him that he had explained everything to Kal three weeks ago. The man had been avoiding them, they tried to talk to him in between fighting but the man always used his super-speed to get away.

Kal looked up and spotted Bruce, and froze. He looked around and Bruce knew he was looking for an escape so he wouldn't have to go by him. So before he could find one Bruce quickly moved towards him. When he got closer he heard the other man sigh before folding his arm and glaring at him.

"Kal, can we talk?" Bruce asked, and Kal looked away from him.

"I'm sorry, OK," Bruce said and Kal glanced at him, encouraging him to go on. "I should have told you from the start, but I didn't know how you would take it, dating me and Jay. We thought if one of us got close to you, then we could become friends and tell the other one about you. That way we could both come up with a way to convince you to be with us," Bruce explained.

Clark sighed and dropped his arms. "Bruce, I...I don't know how to take this. I guess I should feel honored that you both have that much feeling for me to try that hard to get me. But, to be with the two of you...I don't know," He told the other man.

Batman looked at him before looking down. "Could you please just think about it, giving us a chance?" he pleaded.

Clark thought for a moment that it might hurt to think about it. "Fine, I'll think about it," he agreed.

"Thank you, and while you did that. Could you probably not try so painfully obviously to avoid me? I miss my best friend," Bruce said, and Clark felt a little guilty for his actions the past couple of days.

"Hehe, sorry about that. I just didn't know what to say to you," He replied, and Bruce nodded as his phone chirped.

Bruce pulled out the phone and smirked at it. Before typing something and shaking his head. Clark raised a brow when the other man looked up at him.

"It's Jay. He said he rescued a kitty," Batman said, showing him a picture of Joker and a tiny black-and-white kitten. Clark had to admit it was cute. I have to go. Alfred is on vacation, and Jay is coming over for dinner tonight," Bruce said before bidding Clark goodbye and heading to the landing dock where his batjet was parked.

Clark hovered over the city and looked out for danger or anything else that needed help. In the distance, he heard sirens and looked in that direction. He noticed that they were over the border in Gotham City. Without thinking too much about it, Clark flew to Gotham. Once there, he saw a large fire at the edge of the city.

He raced towards the fire and got there just in time to see a figure stumbling out of the house that was fully consumed in flames. Using his super-breath, he blew out the fire in seconds before flying down to check on the citizen and saw it was a joker. Another man ran past him and gathered the clown in his arms. He got closer and said that it was Bruce Wayne who was hugging Joker. Confused, he cleared his throat, drawing their attention to him.

"Kal, thank god you came," Bruce said, and Clark froze.

"Bat?" He asked curiously and the billionaire sighed.

"I guess you know my secret identity now," Bruce said as the firetrucks could be heard in the distance.

"Kal, I need you to take Jay away from here. If he's here when they come, then he'll get blamed simply for being here," Bruce said. Clark looked at him, then at the sirens flashing in the distance, and nodded.

He nodded and stepped toward Joker, he wrapped an arm around his waist, "Hang on tight," He said before shooting into the sky, he flew to his house and landed in the backyard.

"You can let him know," He said to the clown who still held on to him.

Joker opened his eyes and looked around before letting go. "I have to go back to Bruce, you can wait here," He said before shooting off again.

He landed at Bruce's house and saw him talking to the firefighters and police. He walked over and stood by them until they were finished talking.

"So?" He asked when they were gone.

"They said it was a broken gas line; the place exploded when I lit the match, and I didn't even turn on the stove. They said they'll come back tomorrow to see what they can save," Bruce said, and Clark wrapped his arms around him pulling him into a hug, he slowly flew up into the air and flew home.

He landed a few minutes later and let Bruce go. The other man looked around. "Where are we?" he asked.

"This is my home. Come on. The Joker is inside," he said, leading Bruce into the house and into the living room, where they found the green-haired man.

Clark paused as Bruce walked over to the man. Joker wasn't wearing his makeup up, and he was absolutely beautiful. Clark looked away and blushed slightly. "You guys can stay here tonight. You can stay in the room at the last door on the right upstairs," he told the two before rushing upstairs and changing out of his suit before going to bed.

A few minutes later, he heard the two come upstairs and make their way to their room. They heard laughter and then snores a few minutes later. Sighing, Clark decided to get some sleep; he would need it.
