Bruce drove up to the cliche country house and parked his car. He climbed out and smelted the fresh grass, hearing animals making noise in the back. He watched as Clark got out of the car and how his toned body unfolded from the car.
"You live on a farm?" Bruce asked, looking around. He had always loved the idea of living on a farm.
"Yea, been in the family for years," Clark said as he headed towards the stairs, he opened the screen door and then the big oak door before entering the house.
"Mom, I'm home," Clark called as he took off his shoes by the door. Bruce followed his lead, filling the cool tile under his feet. He sighed at the feeling after having his feet trapped in his leather shoes all day.
"In here, Clark." A female voice called back and Clark made his way toward the living room, Where an elderly lady was sitting on the couch watching the TV.
"Oh, Clark. You brought a friend," she said, standing up. She turned to Bruce and stretched out her hand for him to shake. "It's so nice to finally meet one of Clark's boyfriends; he never brings anyone home," she said, patting his hand.
Bruce felt his heart flutter at the thought of him being Clark's boyfriend. An image of him holding the shorter man in his arms flashed in his mind.
"MOM!!!!" Clark exclaimed, "He's not my boyfriend. This is Bruce Wayne," He said with a slight blush covering his cheeks and something in his eyes that Bruce couldn't explain.
"Ooh. I'm sorry, dear," Mrs. Kent said, patting Clark's shoulder.

" It's fine; I'm going to change my clothes," Clark sighed, briefly glancing at Bruce before heading towards the stairs with his shoulders slightly slumped.
Dinner was ready, and Clark still hadn't come back down. Bruce glanced at the stairs anxiously before looking back at the lady in the kitchen.
"Bruce, why don't you go up and get Clark? His room is the first door on the left," She told him as if feeling his eyes on her.
He made his way up the stairs and knocked on Clark's door. "Come in," a voice called behind the door, and Bruce entered. He spotted Clark immediately standing by the window.
"Did he leave yet?" Clark asked, not looking up.
"No, actually I didn't," Bruce replied, stepping further into the room.
Clark's head snapped up, at the sound of his voice. "Oh, I thought you would have left by now," he whispered.
"Why would I? I was invited to dinner," Bruce asked, a little confused. Clark didn't respond; instead, he got up and made his way to the door. Before he could pass, Bruce grabbed his hand and pulled him towards him. "Why would I leave?" he asked again.
Clark sighed. "Most people don't like working with me," He told Bruce.
He looked up at the billionaire in front of him.
He watched as Bruce frowned, the corners of his mouth turning down and his forehead wrinkled. Clark wanted to use his thumb and straighten out the wrinkles.
"Because you're gay?" Bruce asked, snapping him out of his exploring. "You thought I'd leave and not want to work with you because you're gay?"

Clark nodded, turning his head away from the piercing blue eyes looking at him. He heard Bruce sigh and felt a hand under his chin making him look up at the other man. Bruce stepped closer, invading his space.
"I am many things, Clark, but a hypocrite is not one of them," he said before pressing his lips against Clark's and catching him in a toe-curling kiss.
Bruce pulled away and headed towards the door. "Come on, Farmboy. Your mom's done with dinner," He called over his shoulder, before disappearing down the stairs.
Clark smiled to himself, touching his fingers to his lips. This was going to be an interesting week he thought to himself as he followed the other man down.
