Bruce sat in the passenger seat of his own car as Clark drove him to their location. There wasn't much conversation in the car, but it was awkward.

"Clark. Where are we going?" He asked finally, turning to look at the other man who was lip-syncing to the song on the radio.

"I can't tell you," Clark said, biting his lip and glancing over at Bruce only to look away when he realized Bruce was looking at him.

"Why not?" Bruce asked, skeptically.

"It's nothing bad, I promise," Clark tried to reassure him.

A few minutes later, they pulled up to a building that looked like an old warehouse. Clark got out of the car and bounced excitedly on his feet. He grabbed Bruce's hand and pulled him towards the warehouse.

He pushed the door open, and immediately, Bruce was surrounded by Christmas music and laughter. He looked around and realized that they were in an ice rink.

"Why did we come here?" Bruce asked, looking around, surely Clark couldn't have an emergency here, of all places.

"We came here to ice skate," Clark exclaimed as he pulled Bruce over to the shoe booth, and told the man his size. When Clark received his shoes he turned and looked at Bruce expectantly.

Bruce sighed, "Clark, you know I'm not into these kinds of things," He said.

He watched as Clark's blue eyes got big and sad, and he pouted, making something tug in Bruce's chest. He tried to ignore the face, but his eyes kept going back to it. "Fine," he finally agreed. He told the man at the booth his size, took his boots, and followed Clark to the benches. He pulled them on and followed Clark to the ice. They skated around the ice for a while before a slow song came on.

Bruce kept on Skating, while he noticed that Clark had stopped and was slowly skating towards the exit of the rink. He skated over to him. "Where are you going?" He asked, skating backward in front of him.

"Off the rink, it's going to be couples songs for the next hour," Clark said, still skating towards the exit. Bruce looked at Clark for a moment before taking his hand and pulling him back to the middle of the rink. "That doesn't mean we can't dance to one song," He said, as he began to lead the other man around the dance floor.

One song turned into three, then five, and before they knew it, they danced through the entire couple of hours and a few more songs before leaving. When they got home, Bruce followed Clark into the kitchen and watched as he made himself a sandwich.

"Did you enjoy yourself?" Clark asked, sitting down in front of him with his plate.

"I did," he answered, watching as Clark pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and checked off something. "What's that?" he asked, trying to peek over and see what was on the paper, but Clark quickly stuffed it in his pocket.

"A piece of paper," Clark told him.

"What's on the paper?"

"A list,"

"What kind of list?"

"Oh, would you look at the time," Clark said with a fake yawn before standing up and putting his plate in the dishwasher. "Good night, Bruce," He said before exiting the Kitchen.

"Night, Kent," Bruce called after him.
