A few months later

Bruce walked down the hall of the lookout with a smile on his face. It had been six months since he and Clark had gone out, and he couldn't be happier. He was planning something for Clark later to celebrate. He wasn't sure if the other man would like it, but he really hoped he did. He was so lost in thought that he didn't see Green Lantern in front of him and bumped into him.

"Sorry Lantern didn't see you," He said, still slightly distracted.

"You ok, Bats? You seem a little distracted," Lantern said, looking at him with squinted eyes.

"Oh, yeah, I was just planning something for someone later, and I'm not sure if they'll like it," Bruce said truthfully.

"For Superman right?" Lantern asked, making Bruce look up at him in surprise. "I notice things, It's obvious you are dating if you look closely enough. And I'm sure whatever you're planning he'll love it," He finished, patting Bruce on the shoulder before walking away.

Bruce stood on top of the old church overlooking Gotham Bay. He had texted Clark earlier, telling him to meet him there. He was dressed in a pink sleeveless dress, matching pink gloves, and white heels. He was wearing barely noticeable makeup and had decided against wearing his wig.

Turning his back to the scene in front of him, he looked at the one he had made earlier. He had hung fairy lights all over the roof and set up a small hammock with pillows and a small screen to watch movies after they finished the picnic he had made. The screen was set up on a mound of blankets close to the hammock.

He heard a sound behind him and turned to see Clark standing at the edge of the building. "Hey, love," he said, walking towards Bruce, who blushed at the endearment.

"Hey, Clark," Bruce said, walking up to him and pressing his lips to Clark's. "You look good," He said, taking in Clark's button front and jeans.

"Not as good as you do, you look absolutely wonderful," Clark said, eyes roaming down Bruce's body.

"I have a surprise for you," Bruce said, taking Clarks and pulling him towards the picnic. He stopped him a few feet away and pressed a button, making all the lights come on.

Clark gasped at the scene before him. He turns to look at Bruce to see the man looking nervously back at him. "You did this?" He asked motioning to the science behind them.

"Y... yeah, I figured it's our six-month anniversary, and I wanted to give you something special. I know you don't do fancy restaurants, and I thought maybe I could make you the perfect date," Bruce said, twisting his hands in front of him. "If you don't like it, we could go somewhere else," Bruce rushed out, making Clark smile at him.

"I love it, Bruce. Thank you," Clark said, kissing his cheek and pulling him over to the picnic.

It was a few minutes after their date and the movie, and Clark and Bruce were floating far up above Gotham Bay. Clark held Bruce close to him, and Bruce had his head buried in Clark's neck.

Clark ran his hand through his hair and said something Bruce didn't hear. Lifting his head up, Bruce looked at him. "What?" He asked.

"I said, I love you, my Queen," Clark repeated.

"I love you too...My king," Bruce said.
