Clark hovered in front of the glass at the headquarters, looking out at the planets. He saw Batman's reflection passing and immediately turned around to look at him, the man he had fallen in love with.

He watched as he typed something on a tablet while walking down the hall. Taking a deep breath, Superman flashed after him. "Hey, Batman," he called. The Caped Crusader paused in his tracks, looked back at him, and gave him a slight smirk, he had never seen the other man smile.

"Hey, Kal. How are you?" Batman asked, and Clark blushed at the use of his name. Batman was the only one who knew that name, he had decided to get close to the Bat by becoming his friend, and eventually best friends so he had told Batman about himself and what he knew about his people and it had worked.

"I'm good, what are you up to?" He asked in return.

"I'm looking over some surveillance footage of a bank robbery last night. The crook disappeared into thin air, and I'm trying to figure out how," Batman told him.

Clark hovered beside Batman as they walked down the hall. He cast a side glance at the other man every now and then trying to build up some courage for what he wanted to do.

"Kal, do you have something to say? You keep looking at me," Bruce said, pausing his work and looking at him.

Clark took a deep breath and placed his feet on the ground. "I...I...Iwaswonderingifyouwantedtogoonadatewithmelatertodayifyournottobusy?" He rushed out, and Batman blinked at him.

"Could you repeat that maybe a little slower?" Bruce asked and Clark looked down, fearing rejection.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me later today if you're not too busy?" Clark asked slowly.

"Ok," Bruce said, and Clark's head snapped up to look at him.

"Really?" He asked excitedly, smiling widely.

"Sure, I mean, the worst we can have is a bad date," Bruce said, chuckling.

"Yes." Clark cheered and Bruce chuckled some more.

"Meet me at the old church at seven," Bruce told him, before heading off, leaving an excited Clark in the hallway.

Clark chased a car through the city, it drove dangerously down the street trying to get away from him. The three criminals inside had shot about ten people before fleeing the scene of the crime.

The Criminal left his city and drove into Gotham, he dodged between buildings and came over to the car. He punched a hole in the top of the car and lifted it off the ground. The Criminals hung out the window and shot at him making him drop the car, he landed beside it checking to see if they were still alive, and they were just unconscious.

He picked up the car again and started to head back to his city. He was flying over a rooftop when something caught his eye. Pausing, Clark flew closer and was shocked at what he saw: the Joker and Batman, kissing.

He dropped the car, making the two pull apart to look at him. "Bat?" He asked when Batman looked up at him with wide eyes.

"Kal? What are you doing here?" Batman asked, and Clark just looked at him.

He looked between the clown and the dark bat in front of him before shaking his head and picking up the car with the still unconscious criminals inside.

"Kal, wait," Batman called after him, making him look back.

"I'm sor..."Batman began, but Clark cut him off.

"Don't, just Don't," Clark said, before super speeding away.

Why would Batman do this? Would he agree to a date with him if they go out kissing someone else just a mere hour before?

Clark turned over the criminals to the police, then made a slow flight home, when he got there he went inside, and made his way to the living room, where he picked up the picture of his dead parents.

"First Lois, now Bat." He said, "Will no one ever love me back?" He asked the picture in his hand.
