Violet quickly pulls out her phone. She's walking somewhere but she doesn't know where.

She wants to apologize to Matt, so she's going to his house. Thing is, she doesn't know where his house is.

Violet types in the address in her gps, and quickly heads towards it.

She doesn't know what she's gonna say to Matt, she just knows she has to apologize.

--

Violet arrives on the driveway, and reaches the front door. She rethinks if this is the right option but before she knows it, her index finger is pressing the doorbell.

--

Matt's been overthinking his interaction with the new girl all day. He told Nick and Chris he'd met someone near target and they acted up but he doesn't know why.

He didn't say who, for her own privacy and safety, because he knows some hoes in his school would uppercut the shit out of Violet if they heard she upset their school crush.

He's been in bed all day, with his mom checking up on him every now and then.

He'd always answer the same: "I'm fine.", but deep down he wasn't fine. He was anxious. He wasn't only absent from school because of Violet, he was also very anxious when he woke up.

Last year, he didn't go to school because of his anxiety very often. He'd get dragged in and out of school because of it, and it was tearing him apart slowly.

His girlfriend doesn't care about his anxiety, which makes Matt hide it. He feels like he's different. Like he's weird.

That's why he doesn't go to school when his anxiety is acting up. He doesn't want Rachel to just tell him to "get over it" while he's in such a vulnerable position.

He quickly gets caught out of his trance when the doorbell rings. He stays in his bed, knowing his mom will probably open the door.

--

Mary Lou hears the doorbell ring and frowns a little before heading to the front door.

She opens it to see a girl she'd never seen in her life standing in front of her with an awkward smile on her face.

"Hello dear, can I help you?" She asks nicely. "Hi miss Sturniolo. I'm a friend of Matt's and I heard he's been a little down today." Violet explains with a soft smile.
