(ง'̀-'́)ง"What's wrong?" Matt asks worriedly, sitting down onto the closed toilet seat and looking up at Violet.
Violet closes the door and locks it, before going to sit on the edge of the bathtub, across from Matt.
Violet shrugs carelessly before glancing up at Matt and then looking back down to her fingers in her lap.
"I don't know. I actually do not know. I feel fine. I feel healed. I feel confident. That was just...an outburst, I guess." Violet mumbles, voice barely above a whisper.
"You're healed?" Matt questions, his voice somehow hurt now.
"Yeah, why? You aren't?" Violet asks, knowing the answer good enough.
"Well...it's only been two weeks." Matt whispers, and Violet sighs.
"I'm not fully healed. I'm just partly healed because...because I've found a new way of seeing life." Violet confesses and Matt frowns slightly.
"How?" He asks carefully.
"You know all I've been through, Matt. You've seen my lowest moments, right?" Violet says and Matt just nods.
"You know how I see myself." Violet speaks, now more confidence set in her tone.
"Yeah...you don't...you...hate yourself." Matt clears up.
He would be right, if he said it one month ago.
"Well...not necessarily." Violet confesses softly, looking from her fingers to Matt's eyes.
"Huh?" Matt mutters, now also looking up with a frown.
"Actually the total opposite...lately." Violet says softly.
"You don't hate yourself anymore?" Matt asks and Violet nods softly.
"That's fucking amazing, Viola." Matt smiles lightly. "For me, yeah. But what did you get out of any of this?" Violet questions.
"The knowledge of knowing you love yourself, obviously." Matt shrugs simply.
"Not me. Don't think about me for once. How do you feel about yourself and the whole situation right now?" Violet asks carefully.
Matt shrugs, not really wanting to answer the question.
"The same...maybe even worse." Matt says and Violet frowns.
"See what I mean? We need some time apart. Because this conversation is not doing us good." Violet announces.
Matt didn't want to agree with Violet, but he knew he had to.
For Violet.
"Yeah, you're right." He lies and Violet smiles softly.
"Let's just have some fun in Greece, and here at home. Just don't think too much about it. Friends?" Violet questions.
Matt's heart shatters but of course he can't say it did.
