It's 8am.
It's a quiet morning in the Sturniolo household.
Everyone's sleeping peacefully.
You might think.
In the silence, there is a single sob. A single cry for help, one might say.
From Matt's room.
He couldn't help but overthink.
Violet was drunk, Matt.
Keeps repeating in his head.
But why would she say that?
Keeps getting answered.
He's scared. He's sad. Violet said he's too much. Someone worded his biggest insecurity.
He didn't want to...his hands worked faster than he could think...which is exactly why he's now broken down on his bathroom floor, blood dripping from his wrists.
He really fucking tried his best to stay silent, to not make a single noice. Because if he did, someone would wake up, and he'd be annoying them by waking them up.
But that one goddamn sob.
He whispered a curse to himself, dropping the blade he pushed too deep into his skin.
--
Violet woke up with an excruciatingly painful, throbbing headache.
She's hungover.
Of course.
She should've seen it fucking coming.
But how did she wake up? She was sleeping so deep. Some noice must've woken her up.
Who dares to fucking wake her up.
With a soft groan, she peels open her eyes and looks around.
She's laying in Matt's bed, alone. Where's Matt?
She doesn't remember shit about yesterday. She really doesn't.
She gets caught out of her trance when a choked back, soft, silent sob breaks out.
Her head immediately snaps to the bathroom door.
"Matt!" She whispers to herself, already having an idea on what's happening.
You see; when Violets drunk, she says some fucked up stuff to the people she loves. Maybe she did that with Matt.
(love like a friend dumbass (;)
She quickly stands up and pushes through the dizziness as she hurries to the bathroom door.
She softly knocks on it, and everything goes quiet.
Like you could hear a goddamn pin drop.
And right then, you could.
