Matt didn't even park the car properly and Nick and Violet were already outside.

Matt and Chris also exit the car and walk to the front door along with Nick and Violet.

The four of them had decided to meet up with Alahna, Elmer and Rosalia at the party in the kitchen so that's where they're headed.

Nick and Violet continue talking as they make their way through the house. There were drunk teens everywhere, and the loud music made the floor thump.

Violet won't tell anyone, but she had already drunk a beer. To prepare a little.

"Lana!" Violet smiles as she approaches the three in the kitchen.

"And Elm! And Liaaaaa!" Violet smiles, her words already kind of slurred.

"What are the drinks?" Violet asks and Alahna laughs to herself. "Beer, water and punch." She answers.

"I want a glass of punch." Violet whispers. "Be careful tho, it's probably spiked already." Elmer says quickly.

"That's fine." Violet shrugs carelessly before pouring herself a cup of punch and downing it in one sip before doing the same thing three more times.

Nobody saw that because they were in different spaces. Alahna, Elmer and Rosalia went to the living room and Nick was with Chris in another part of the kitchen.

Which leaves Matt.

And Matt just arrived in the kitchen where Violet was. He looks at Violet downing her fourth cup of punch. Her eyes were already heavy lidded, and her eyes were reddish.

Which means she was drunk and high.

"Woah woah woah! How many of that have you already had?" Matt asks, approaching Violet and taking the newly filled cup out of her hand.

"That's my first one! Give it b- back!" Violet says, her words slurred together dramatically.

"Holy fuck you're drunk. Come with me." Matt says. "No." Violet pouts, staying in place.

"Viola please come with me." He tries again. "Forget it!" Violet mutters.

"Fine." Matt sighs, "but I'm staying right by your side."

"No I don't want you to." Violet huffs with an eye roll. "What do you mean you don't want me too?" Matt asks, more offended now.

"I mean..." she pauses, turning to hold eye contact with Matt, "I want you to leave me alone."

Matt does not know why, but his heart shattered at that sentence. Is it because she knows his past? Is she just too drunk and high?

"Why? What'd I do?" Matt asks. "You're too fucking much. Just leave me alone." Violets words slur and she stumbles as she walks away from Matt.

Four hours later:

Four hours later and Violet didn't sober up the slightest. She might even be slightly more drunk and high.
