Time went by excruciatingly slow. It was horrible. For the whole friend group, and Taylor.

The news about Violet was quickly spread across the whole school, a few people starting rumours and other people always asking questions.

The thing is, there was only one person who knew answers. Not to everything, but to most of the reason why Violet's in a coma.

Matt.

He's been having to skip school a lot over the past two months, just to get away from all the questions being thrown at him.

It wasn't easy for Matt to hear people talk shit about his best friend in a coma, neither was it for Nick and Chris.

This became clear when Nick punched a guy in the face who said it was "probably a suicide attempt because she hates herself"

The triplets have been distancing themselves from people, only being around each other.

After Nick and Chris caught Matt breaking down on the bathroom floor, they haven't left his side.

They've been sleeping in the same room, Matt's been breaking down a couple more times but it usually ended the same. With all three of them cuddled up together, asleep.

None of them really understand why they're so affected by their best friend being in a coma.

They just got along with her so well instantly. Like it wasn't love at first sight, it was 'I know I'm gonna need you by my side for the rest of my life' at first sight.

They were all convinced she was dead forever. Which is why they're now - for the first time in two months - in they're separated rooms, sobbing their ass off.

Chris - he's laying in his bed on his side. He's crying because he actually has respect and loves Violet. (As besties dumbasses) she matches his energy. He loves Violet.

Nick - he's sitting crisscross on top of his bed, his hands covering his face. He was mostly crying because Violet reminded him of Alahna a lot. The 5 hours they talked, he found out that her and Alahna have a lot in common. He loves Violet.

Matt - he's been crying the most. He's laying flat on his back staring at his ceiling as more tears cover his tear stained cheeks. He's crying the most because he feels affected the most. He saw her laying on the floor. He had to call 911 on his not breathing best friend. He felt sick every time he thought about the sight. The thing that hurt him most, is the sentence he heard from her. "Do it. Kill me. End it all. Please." This made him cry the most. She was begging for Rowan to end it all. He heard her say it since she was basically screaming it. He was also crying a lot because of his anxiety and depression. He loves Violet.

Matt's thoughts get cut short when his phone starts ringing, making Matt jump. He looks on his phone- unknown number.

He ignores it and returns back to his trance. Until his phone rings again. Same number. He decides to answer it.

"Hello?" A voice is heard. "Yeah?" Matt replies, his voice low and hoarse from crying. "Is this Matthew Sturniolo?" The man asks.
