Elmer pulls up in the Sturniolo driveway and parks his car. They all get out and go back inside.

"And?" Chris asks expectedly.

"Nothing." Elmer sighs and Chris's face drops.

"Then where the fuck is he?!" Chris's voice raises slightly.

"Chris calm down, alright. We'll find him." Alahna speaks.

Meanwhile, Violet snook out.

To the front porch.

She knows it's wrong and she knows she didn't ask permission, but she had an idea of where Matt could be.

She sneaks into Elmer's car and starts it.

She had grabbed his keys from his pocket earlier.

She drives off and decides to go stand on the side of the road to text Elmer a warning.

Violet puts her phone down and starts driving.

--

30 minutes later, Violet parks in a parking spot on the side of the road.

She gets out of the car and makes her way to the forest Matt's always at.

She gets off road and has too literally walk on leaves and sticks to get into the forest.

Matt had told Violet that he'd always go to that forest when he was younger and now still.

He told her it was because he thought it was relaxing, which was why he'd always go there when he was really anxious or nervous.

Matt has never told Nick, Chris or anyone about this.

Only Violet.

--

After 10 minutes, Violet finally gets to the center of the forest. Not necessarily the center, but the place where the trees were cut off so you could walk around properly, and where there was a bench.

And, not to her surprise, she was actually right.

Matt was sitting on the bench, his back turned towards her, his headphones on, and scrolling through his phone mindlessly.

Violet knew she didn't have to be silent to walk towards him since she knows he always has his headphones blasting on full volume.

She still doesn't want to startle him, but that's gonna be really hard since he doesn't know she's there.

Violet approaches him from behind, and sees the cigarette between his middle finger and index finger.
