Violet wakes up and instantly grabs her phone. She opens snapchat and answers all her snaps before looking at herself in the camera.
Fuck she looks bad.
Her hair was a mess, her eyes were still red and puffy from all the crying, and her throat really hurt from all the sobbing.
She looks to her side to see Nick still sleeping deeply, and then looks at the time and sees it's only 6am so of course he's still sleeping.
She's really hungry, so she carefully gets out of Nicks room and silently exits his room.
She heads downstairs and enters the kitchen.
Violet opens the fridge and grabs the first eatable thing in there.
She heads back upstairs and she couldn't help but flinch at the sight of seeing Matt coming out of his room as soon as she entered the hallway of his room which she had to go through to get in Nicks room.
They both exchange glances before Violet scoffs and walks faster, passing him and entering Nicks room again.
She scoffed because she can't help but miss him. Even if it's been not even a day. She misses his kisses and his cuddles at night. She just misses him, and she wanted to get him out of her sight as soon as possible.
She's so sure Matt's mad at her, which is why she doesn't dare to talk to him.
Matt misses Violet. He misses her soft and gentle kisses, and he misses the feeling of her in his arms at night. He misses the comfort of her being around.
Matt's convinced Violet is mad at him, so he doesn't talk to her.
It's like a two way street🤷🏼♀️
Matt isn't gonna talk to Violet because he thinks she's mad at him,
And Violet isn't gonna talk to Matt because she thinks he's mad at her.
Plus, after everything Violet has told him, he still yelled at her, so she has FULL permission to be mad at Matt.
Matt doesn't have a good reason🤷🏼♀️
But then again Violet loves Matt too much to be mad at him, so she's not mad at him, even if that's basically the only logical thing.

2:42pm:
Violet and Nick have been talking since he woke up, which was a little after Violet came back from the kitchen.
"Can we please go downstairs?" Nick questions. He's asked once before but Violet said no because of Matt, but now she couldn't say no.
"Okay fine. Let's go." Violet says as she stands up from the bed.
She really really doesn't want to go home, but she hasn't eaten anything yet after her visit to the kitchen in the morning and she's hungry.
Nick and Violet exit his bedroom and head downstairs.
Once downstairs, Violet can already hear Chris talking to Mary Lou who just came back from a little trip, and in the living room she heard Justin talking to Jimmy and Matt.
Nick head to the living room, but Violet subtly slips towards the kitchen.
She wants to avoid Matt at all costs.
"Hi Mary Lou." Violet smiles, approaching her and Chris.
"Uh, okay?" Chris fakes an offended tone and Violet giggles, "hi Chris."
Violet couldn't help but feel a pair of eyes against her back.
But since Chris and Mary Lou are in front of her, it has to be either Nick, Jimmy, Justin or Matt.
She subtly turns a little to Mary Lou so she could see who was looking at her, but failed because the person moved.
Whoever it was, moved more into the kitchen and opened the fridge. The fridge closes and Violet just decides she's going to look who it was.
She turns around only to be met by Matt looking at her intently.
Like on queue, Violets phone starts ringing. She grabs it out of her pocket and looks at the name.
Why is he calling all of a sudden?
She picks up and brings the phone up to her ear, while Matt was still listening and looking at her.
"Hi." Violet says to the person on the phone.
"Yeah, I'm good. What about you? How are things in Boston?" She asks. Since her and the triplets live in Somerville, they go to Boston pretty often.
But she's never talked to or about a girl in Boston.
"And...how's your love life?" She questions with a giggle.
"No girlfriend at all? That's actually crazy." She stifles a laugh and Matt can hear the person on the other side agree.
"Wait you're falling apart I'm gonna have to put you on speaker." She mutters before doing so and turning her back to Matt.
Chris and Mary Lou had already left the kitchen, so it was just Matt and Violet.
"I swear to god. I'm single." The person on the phone was heard, and Matt's heart literally broke when he recognized the voice.
"I haven't seen you in fucking ages. Can you come to Somerville or something sometime? It's been a while and to be honest I miss you we've been best friends since we were like 3." Violet says and Matt frowns.
She knows him???
Matt didn't even know Violet knew him.
"I gotchu. I'll come over tomorrow. Maybe I can stay over for like a week, if you have place." The familiar male voice suggests and Violet nods.
"I mean— I live with the triplets now. I'm pretty sure either Matt or Chris will lend you their room." Violet shrugs.
"You live with the triplets? How did I not know?" The phone speaks, and Violet laughs a little.
"It's been 6 years since I've seen you, Nate. A lot of shit went down. You remember Rowan right?" Violet questions and Matt's heart drops.
"Yeah. Sorry I know he's your brother but he's crazy." Nate speaks and Violet giggles a little.
"Swear to god. Yeah he's gone dude. Locked up after he tried to kill me." Violet laughs but Matt could hear the pain in her voice.
"Told you he's a psycho." Nate says and Violet nods.
"Yeah I'll ask Chris if you can stay over, after all you're their best friend too." Violet says and Nate hums in agreement.
"Alright I'll see you soon." Violets smiles. "Yessss see ya bye VV." Nate smiles before Violet hangs up.
Unbothered by Matt's presence, she slips her phone in her pocket, walks past Matt and goes to the living room.
