*Matt's POV*

My heart shatters as I pull Violet in for a hug. She's so vulnerable, so insecure.

To me, she's nothing but everything I need.

She's my best friend, I hate seeing her like this.

"It's gonna be okay, baby..." I whisper softly as she tightens the hug, before melting in the hug and dropping to the ground.

I look down to see her eyes closed.

Shit shit shit.

"Violet?!" I gasp, dropping to my knees next to her. No reaction.

"Nick! Chris! HELP!" I yell desperately.

In seconds, my bedroom door bursts open and Nick and Chris appear in it. "Call an ambulance! Call anyone I don't know!" I sob uncontrollably, trying to get Violet to wake up.

Nick was quick to call an ambulance while Chris helped me with helping Violet.

*general*

Ambulance sirens fill the streets and quickly the Sturniolo household is freaking out.

Matt had picked Violet up after he felt no heartbeat, and he had already brought her to the couch.

Chris had already opened the front door for the ambulance and was now also sitting behind Violet in the couch.

Nick was outside on the front porch, attempting to explain what happened but he didn't know anything, so he told them "Matt knows."

And now, all four of them are in the back of an ambulance, while Matt is sobbing out an explanation.

Luckily the paramedic heard what Matt was explaining, and after Matt was done, he told them, "This sounds serious. It will take some time for Violet to get back to consciousness, and maybe she won't..."

Matt couldn't help but feel lightheaded at the acknowledgement.

Maybe she won't.

And...there he went.

Just like Violet, unconscious.

By now, Nick and Chris were freaking out. Their best friend was most likely dead, and their brother just fainted.

"You two, stay calm and keep an eye on Violet while I regain your brothers' consciousness." The paramedic says and the two triplet brothers nod as more tears fall off of their face.

The paramedic kneels down next to Matt and props his legs up a little.

--

Matt's eyes shoot open with a dramatic gasp.

He subconsciously tears up as Nick and Chris kneel down next to him, pulling him close to their bodies and comforting them.
