"I love her so much, It physically pains me to imagine a life without her, I feel like I won't survive a single second, without her. I feel I am drowning and only she could save me, But here I am, drowning without her, and she'...

"Is Manar coming?" I ask Eman as she settles down on the garden table bench of the farmhouse.
Eman gives me a plain look. "Walaikumaslam, Mahib. I am good, thank you for asking."
"Is she coming or not?" I ask impatiently.
Eman rolls her eyes. "She is. She was reluctant because her land lady had to go to her village for some kind of emergency and no one was there to look after Noor."
I frown. "She can't leave her alone then."
"Yes, she can't." Eman nods. "That's why I send her a car asked her to bring Noor along."
I perk with excitement. "She's bringing Noor here?"
Eman raises an eyebrow, a smile forming on her lips. "You look so excited to meet her."
"I am." I nod. "Both of them, actually." I sigh, taking a seat opposite to her. "I don't know what I said to upset her."
Eman's eyes widen the slightest. "What did you say again?"
"Again?" I frown.
"I mean, you had upset her once over the toy thing, so I thought..." she shrugs. "Anyway, what happened?"
I sigh. "She asked me about sign language and I told her where I learned it, I remember I taught her a few signs as well. But she acted like she has seen a ghost and ran away from the office."
Eman leans forward. "When...did you taught her?"
"I did. I remember I did." I argue. "Why are you saying like I can't remember the things I did?"
"Alright! Alright!" She raises her hands up. "Maybe you did."
"Then why are you—"
The sound of car honking and gate opening is heard and I stand up. "That must be Manar."
I walk towards the gate and watch Manar getting out of the car with Noor in her arms. She looks around the property until her eyes fall on me and she gives me a small smile.
I have never seen her smile before. It was the most beautiful thing in the world.
I walk towards her. "Salam."
"Walaikumaslam."
Noor pops her head through the blanket covering her and squints her bright blue eyes at me.
I bend my head. "Salam to you too Miss Noor. How are you doing there?"
Noor gives her small two teethed smile.
"Oh those teeth have grown from the last time." I tap her small nose.
"They did." Manar taps Noor's small chin and she snuggles on her mother's chest. The sight of them makes my heart swell with joy.
