"I love her so much, It physically pains me to imagine a life without her, I feel like I won't survive a single second, without her. I feel I am drowning and only she could save me, But here I am, drowning without her, and she'...

One year later
I wrap my arms around Mahib's back from behind as he stood in the balcony holding the railings.
I rest my head on his shoulder, my hands on his chest. He intwines our fingers together and kisses my knuckles.
For few minutes, we stay there like that in each other's arms, soaking up the last few days of warm autumn mornings.
"What are you thinking?" I kiss his shoulder blade.
Mahib, after that incident last year used to often zoned out for a while, thinking in his head, I had encouraged him for a therapy session and he agreed, after few sessions, he has been doing well. But I fear sometimes he gets too much in his head. Sometimes he still blames himself for Noor's kidnapping, but now he is coming in terms with that and agreed to put past behind us. We have put so many things behind us, we couldn't ruin for future for our past.
His chest heaves beneath my hands as he sighs. "How was your day?"
"Hectic. But I loved it, I started the layout design of the organisation today."
The property Mahib gifted me to make a home for us, I decided to make a home for those who doesn't, those woman who are rape survivors, who have lost a roof under their home because of any reason, who doesn't have warm blankets for their babies, who fears they couldn't have a safe place to deliver their baby, I want to give them a roof. A home for them. And what's better use of my talent and money that I have started earning.
To make a home for those woman who are facing a situation I once did. I will make a place I wish I could find for me.
Working on this project was the favourite thing, I had the right contacts, right help, right technology and it was very convenient to visit site everyday because it's just a five minute walk from the back garden.
Mahib turns around, my arms going around his waist now. "I am so proud of you, my love."
I smile, "Nothing without your support."
He kisses my forehead. "I pray everyday that our Noor and her future siblings get your bravery and strength."
A weight falls in my gut but I smile it off.
He tucks a strand behind my ear. "Is Noor with Baba?"
I nod. "Yes, breakfast with dadajaan."
He smiles. "I love how she completed our family."
"Daughters are blessings." I smooth down his collar,
He taps my nose. "Tell me what's going on in your mind."
I take a breath, I couldn't hide it from him forever. "Mahib...I went to a gynaecologist today."
His eyebrows dip with worry. "Is everything okay?"
