"I love her so much, It physically pains me to imagine a life without her, I feel like I won't survive a single second, without her. I feel I am drowning and only she could save me, But here I am, drowning without her, and she'...

I catch a peek of Manar's laptop screen as I walk beside her desk.
I stop and look at what she is searching about.
"You are finding a new place?"
She flinches, her hands flying over her desk, making the pen stand topple over the table. She gets up in a haste, the belt of her bag looping over her elbow and falling down the ground, making the contents of her bag spill over.
"It's okay, it's okay." I bend down to pick up her bag.
"Sorry." She replies hoarsely taking the bag from me and starts putting her stuff back.
Before I could ask about her tone, my eyes fall on her left hand wrapped in a white bandage. It doesn't look done by a medical professional but by someone who just had a spare bandage.
"Manar..?"
Her eyes snap up to mine and I am taken aback by the redness lining her mismatched eyes.
She abruptly stands up with her bag and places it securely on the desk.
"Manar, are you okay?"
She ignores me and starts arranging the pen stand hastily, her hands shaking just slightly as she tries to grab the pens.
I grab the pen stand from her. Her eyes flitting to mine.
"Manar your hand." I casts a worried glance at her hand. "What happened?"
I grab all the pens and stuff it inside the pen stand.
She looks down. "Nothing." Her voice was hoarse as if she cried the whole night.
"You were crying." I conclude looking at her unusual puffy face. "What's wrong? Please tell me."
"It's nothing, really."
I take a look of her face. It certainly didn't looked nothing.
"But you—"
"You don't need to worry about me, Mr. Mahib."
She calls me Mr. Mahib all the time so why this one makes my heart constrict? Why do I feel the wall that was between us is or has already built again.
"Why are you talking like that to me?"
"I am talking normally." She lifts up one shoulder in a shrug.
"No you are not." I scoff. "Your tone and your eyes says a complete different story. Please tell me if anything is wrong."
Her eyes shines with moisture. "Everything is wrong. And I realised it was selfish of me to drag you into my...life."
I try to swallow the tight ball of emotions in my eyes. "So you don't want me to be in your life?"
Her eyes hardens again, but she doesn't utters a word. Her eyes were enough for what she wanted to say.
I lick my lips. "Can I atleast—" I bite the inside of my lip and nod stepping back. "I am here if you want anything."
