It's been four weeks since Mahib proposed to Manar.

And she didn't gave an answer.

Mahib knew what game she was playing and he just waited patiently for his plan to work out.

She was intentionally avoiding him.

At first it was quite comical for Mahib.

Whenever they sat for their project, Manar kept glancing at him secretly and when he would look at her, she would dive back at her book.

Most of the time, she spends her time with Eman. Much to Zaviyar's displeasure, Eman also kept her entertain.

"Take her away."

Mahib pauses the paper cup mid way to his mouth and glances at his cousin, "Take who?"

Zaviyar casts a distasteful glance at Manar and Eman who kept taking photos from the hired photographer brought by Eman for their farewell party.

A teasing grin forms on Mahib's mouth and he chuckles. "But why? The girls are enjoying, let them."

"Eman haven't talked to me since," he looks at his wrist watch. "Forty two minutes."

"Did you counted the seconds too?" Because Mahib did. And it was way greater than Zaviyar's.

Zaviyar doesn't answers and follows Eman's movements under his hawk eyes.

"Let the girl breathe." Mahib hides his grin, by taking a sip of from the glass. Although he followed where Manar goes with his eyes, he always enjoys riling up Zaviyar. "You already stole my best friend."

Zaviyar gives a cold look to his cousin which could've made an ocean freeze. "She was never yours."

Mahib chuckles. "She wasn't yours either."

Zaviyar's jaw ticks, and then his dark eyes gleams with interest. "Your girl has been avoiding you for what? A month now?" Zaviyar directs his comment at him. "How does that feel?"

Mahib knew he is trying to use his tactics. But he didn't had to worry. Mahib khan never losses his cool.

"I will be honest." Mahib says taking the last sip from the cup. "It feels like hell. But I don't watch her every time like a hawk. You know what I do instead?" He taps Zaviyar's chest. "I wait." He grins.

Zaviyar points at two boys who came upto Eman and Manar and chats with them.

Mahib shrugs. "They are harmless and going back to their girl friends. Besides, they are chatting with Eman."

Zaviyar gives him a warning glare.

Mahib laughs, enjoying his tactics on his cousin. "Patience. I bet you didn't heard that term in your life."

Zaviyar's eyes go over his shoulder and a smile forms on his face. "Let's see how much patience you have by seeing that."

Mahib follows his line of sight and the paper cup in his hand crushes in his fist when he sees Manar talking to guy. If it was any other guy, Mahib wouldn't be so annoyed.
